“Everything they make is exquisite! From the sweet to savory, foods to bevs, I love it all! I appreciate that some dishes are sold frozen so I can enjoy them later on. Everything is made with natural ingredients by holistic chefs and it makes all the difference! Even the dishes made with foods I typically don't prefer the taste of were delicious! I highly recommend giving Goodness Cooks a try!“
“Great food and friendly service. Enjoyed the pancakes, grits, and black beans. The fish cakes are delicious. I had the wraps before which were delicious too. The person whoo prepares the delicious meals is full of valuable information about the food and vegan/vegetarian diet. Definitely will return again.“
“Overall great restaurant for vegans. But, there is a seating problem. Students have one coffee sit at a table for hours and stay too long preventing folks who would like to sit and eat at the restaurant. Starbucks had the same problem in small college towns. Some of the Starbucks created a long table with chairs or benches with computer hook ups. Then the single coffee drinkers were encouraged to use that space. Not a bad idea. This will not stop me from going to Cocos , I just have to pick my time carefully.“
“Great place for vegans, vegetarians and conivores. I had a bowl with baby kale. Baby kale is so much better than regular kale. We were able to carry on a conversation and would have been able to do it with someone hard of hearing. Just have to pay for parking.“
“My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday at Pure Vegan Cafe and it was fantastic! We're both vegetarian and finding a place with such a wide variety of flavorful options is always a treat. For my birthday meal, we tried the tiki burger and it was incredible. The patty was juicy and flavorful, and all the toppings came together perfectly. My partner raved about the veg tacos - fresh, filling, and packed with taste. The whole atmosphere at PVC was fun and welcoming. It was the perfect spot for a birthday lunch celebration. If you're looking for delicious vegan food in a great atmosphere, Pure Vegan Cafe is a must-try! We'll definitely be back soon.“
“Went here yesterday for the first time and was greatly delighted by the food. We ordered the NC *BBQ* sandwich, Cheese fries and the Soul Bowl. Exquisite Vegan Food and great customer service. Thank you for taking time to explain the menu and ingredients. I will definitely be back.“
“This was the greatest experience I have had in long time! This place was nothing short of amazing! Truthfully besides seeing my love ones this was the highlight of my vacation! I wish that we had a banu vegan in Pensacola Florida! Thank you BANU VEGAN FOR SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!!“
“I've been coming to the Spotted Dog on and off probably since it opened. The food is amazing (the Club Veg is my favorite) and there's something for everyone - vegetarians, vegans, carnivores. Bobby is an amazing bartender who takes great care of us and always makes us feel welcome. Very laid back and has never been packed or loud; I love the energy here.“
“Wonderful! Great service! Anthony and Kyle were fantastic and fun! The food was delicious, creative, beautiful and fresh. This was our first time here but we will be coming back tomorrow to try the brunch. The place itself is cute with twinkle lights and fresh flowers.“
“Big fan of the boneless lemon pepper wings and sweet potato fries w the BBQ rub. Other flavors have been good too. Best wings I’ve had in Durham but the fries can be a little inconsistent. They lack on veggie portions and you have to pay extra for additional sauce as well. Don’t ever pay for more carrots, they will legit give you three baby carrots in a bag for $2. So dumb“
“Phenomenal mango or peach pico de gallo. Definitely the best I’ve ever had. Their pupusas are so friggin good as well! We go to Durham farmers market every week just to buy from these guys! Get there early, because they sell out of the pico quickly“
