We had the delight of having Mitch as our server, he was incredibly patient with those with allergies and anxiety. Thank you for that Mitch. “My husband and I visited Momo's Master for the first time this evening and had a wonderful experience. We tried Steamed Momo's with veggie filling served with 2 of their signature dipping sauces, and Himalayan Fried Rice (vegetarian). It was great to see the option for both masala tea and coffee on the menu, especially in a downtown Chapel Hill restaurant, therefore we had to try both Himalayan Masala Tea and Himalayan Coffee, and we were glad that we did. I usually do not write reviews but when the food is that good, I do. The momos were one of the best we have had so far and the flavors of both the signature sauces blended well with that of momos. Himalayan fried rice was hot, spicy and very good. The Punjabi guy, Sukhi, and Usha (from Nepal) - both chefs, were great; Sukhi came and asked us how everything was and ensured that it was to our liking. Both Himalayan Masala Tea and Himalayan coffee tasted good, especially Himalayan Masala Tea was really good. The place has a nice, comfortable ambiance. We look forward to visiting the restaurant again and enjoying the food in near future. Highly recommend.“

“The bagels were really good, fresh and soft! the strawberry cream cheese was delicious and the turkey sausage was flavorful, the staff was efficient and friendly they were pretty busy but the wait wasn't too bad. The waiting and ordering are is extremely small and quickly becomes overcrowded I would suggest ordering ahead and picking up. I would stop in here again.“

“The best thing here is the gelato. It’s super high end. Smoothies >$7 latte >$7. Served in to go cups. Not a ton of natural lighting, but some seating decent for working. The gelato is really nice actually, esp spicy mango.

Our water glasses stayed full and our cocktails were delicious. The food was phenomenal—appetizer, entrées, and dessert. The presentation was lovely and the taste was divine. The Whipped Feta & Fig Crostinis were a surprise hit! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Red Cream Paneer Curry and I couldn’t get enough of the Tagliatelle Pasta Alfredo with Wild Mushrooms and Shiitake Bacon. The ice cream sundae was great, too! It was my first time tasting non-dairy ice cream that actually tastes good! Given the quality and care taken to provide vegan food that is THIS tasty, I think the pricing is fair, especially when compared to other local cafés/bistros/restaurants in the area. Casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, but still nice enough for a date night. Can’t wait to come back!“

The grilled bruschetta didn't seem grilled — it was lightly toasted rather than the charred rustic bread I expected. And I thought there was too much piled on it. I didn't taste the pastas but my table mates enjoyed theirs. The service was superb— sweet and friendly and accommodating. Bravo for Massimo! He made the night enjoyable for us. Eating outside added to the ambience and felt a little more authentically Italian despite “Volare” playing in the background.“

“Nice old gritty yogurt shop, a Chapel Hill staple. Yogurt/cones are great. The sloping, hand rail-less, sharp-edged brick steps are a death trap, no idea how this passes any city standards. But the yogurt is good and you get to watch people trip on the steps as they try to get in and out.“

“Are outside along sidewalk because we had a dog. Restaurant is dog friendly and offered a dog bowl of water. Erica, waitress, very personable. Blackened Fish tacos delicious with crunchy blue corn taco inside softer flour taco shell. Not too spicy. Oatmeal porter was great. Loved the sweet potato fries but there was a $1 up charge for those not mentioned when offered. Would go back.“

“I am in town and really wanted to eat healthy. This place was close and the young man who wanted on me was very helpful. I told him I had never been there before so he explained all my options. The proportions were reasonable, but probably for a grown man it might not be enough. I actually didn’t put any protein on my bowl because I’m a vegetarian so this was a great option for me. The flavor was wonderful. I think it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had in a long time. They could keep the bar a little more cleaned up and the avocado was bad so I asked him to give me a fresh avocado which she did without any complaints . I will go back here and eat, and I think the prices are reasonable as well. Just needs a little your observation to the details around the restaurant. Keeping everything fresh is really important us to setting like this. I love it!“
