“Don't get me wrong, I really like the food, but I love the people. These folks aren't just running a great restaurant, they are a cornerstone of the community and that's something special.“

“Fantastic location with great seating and comfortable environment. Staf all engaging and pleased you're there. Serving Carrboro Coffee Roasters coffee and baristas are talented. Parking is a real back ache but CH small enough to walk from most available parking spots. PS, Chapel Hill help your merchants address the parking challenges in the Town.“

“Amazing food! Had carnitas and birria tacos. They were amazing. Including the freshly made tortillas. People were really friendly.
We lived in San Diego fir 7 yrs and rarely find Mexican street tacos that are good. These were totally legit. Definitely go try this place!
It's a food truck with outside tables, so atmosphere is food truck.“
“Steak tacos at Tacos Zona are more than just food—they're a reminder of the simple, perfect pleasures in life. Picture this: a warm evening, laughter in the air, and the first bite of a steak taco that takes you back to every comforting moment you've ever known. The steak is tender, seasoned with just the right amount of spice, like an old friend with a story to tell. The tortilla, soft yet sturdy, wraps around the filling like a hug. And the toppings—crisp onions, fresh cilantro, a squeeze of lime—add a little zest, just like the small joys that make everyday life extraordinary.
These tacos aren't just a meal; they're a celebration of everything that's good in the world. Simple, satisfying, and so good you'll want to share them, but only with someone who truly appreciates the little things in life. Tacos Zona has mastered the art of making you feel at home, one bite at a time.“

“Great to have high quality food without all the college crowds and parking issues. I can stop by any night after work, or on the weekends any time and pick up a winner. You should check it out!!🔥“

“Absolutely love the food here, and the price is pretty good. The horchata is great and one of my go-tos here. Also, the desserts are legendary: churros are made fresh and the flan is one of the best I've ever had. Overall, this place has a great vibe and it's one of if not my favorite spots in Franklin street.“

“Since I moved to Chapel Hill, Lucha Tigre has been my favorite restaurant. Their service and quality can’t be denied, but I am so upset that the Asian Glazed Chicken (my favorite dish) has been removed from the menu.“

“Bandido’s came to Chapel Hill when I did, in 1995. For a while, it was just the place across the alley from The Rat and I didn’t pay it much mind. When I did finally check it out, I discovered a spot that would soon become one of my regulars. From the quaint and quirky underground space to the famous salsa bar, this small restaurant packs a big punch! I usually get a shredded beef quesadilla. Who am I kidding, I always get a shredded beef quesadilla, and it never disappoints! If you are particularly hungry, perhaps you could try their 5-pound burrito food challenge—free T-shirt if you can finish in less than an hour.
Overall, I can highly recommend Bandido’s for quick, delicious, honest Mexican food.“

“Phenomenal unique food, one of the best Mexican restaurants we've eaten at with great Margaritas. My husband loved the amazing Mexican Macaroni and Cheese. The Pollo Tapatio was wonderful, and the Picosito sushi roll was outstanding. Service was great! This should have been one of the first places listed when I did a Google search for Mexican restaurants near my hotel.“
