If you want amazing, authentic Sichuan food without all the pretensions that come with a "fancy" restaurant, then come here. This is legit Sichuan style food that is bursting with flavor and with big portion sizes for how much you pay.Try the garlic and eggplant, ba shu chicken, or the tai an spicy fish fillet soup. My Gourmet Kingdom experiences have been excellent. I have ordered take out and dine in, both were delicious. I would say this is more of a place to go with a group, and split everything family style.The atmosphere is very bare bones, but the yummy food makes up for it. I love the string beans they serve and would eat these everyday for the rest of my life if possible. I also enjoyed their cold noodles, and mapo tofu.

One of my favorite restaurants ever, you can pick anything from the menu and it will always be good, or you can at least try something new. Twice cooked pork is the best thing on the menu for me.
