“Without a doubt, Pincho Loco has some of the most delicious, flavor-packed ice cream and treats you’ll find not only in the city, but in the entire region! My go to is their Italian ice or their ice cream cake slice. Everything is delicious, fresh, and creamy (if it’s supposed to be), plus the prices are great for what you get. They have exceptional service as well. There are ice cream shops literally everywhere, but they rarely go beyond “eh, it’s good ice cream.” This place sets and tops the bar, then raises it some more! I try to make a stop any time I’m in Durham.“
“One of my favorite spots to grab a sweet treat in Durham. I love their flavor offerings from classic ones like vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream to their more adventurous ones like pizza, there's something for everyone. Their ice cream is truly so delicious and the flavors are always on point. I love getting the waffle bowl, who doesn't love an edible bowl? Eating the crispy bits around the edges and then getting to the soft, icecream soaked center of the waffle bowl is my favorite part. I also enjoy that it's right next door to Hi-Wire and a pizza spot so I can grab a brew and a slice if I feel like it and people watch in the courtyard outside. Great icecream and definitely a staple in Durham!“
“We came here after dinner for some ice cream. The line went out the door and it probably took us maybe about ten minutes to order. There were a lot of people here eating so there were not a lot of tables available. We ordered a few things like a single scoop of Cookies N Cream, a single scoop of Lavender Olive Oil Marscapone, and a Shake. The inside was bright and had a relaxed vibe. The Cookies N Cream was good and definitely good for those who always order that at other stores. The Lavender Olive Oil Marscapone was not bad and it wasn't overwhelming to me. I didn't try the Shake. The amount of ice cream for a single scoop was enough for one person and I would recommend either of those flavors. Good ice cream here and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.“
“i had a great time during lunch on my birthday yesterday & was pleased to not find an overabundance of ipa on tap!instead i discovered your amazing reserve beers (solera was a fave) i was also shown your solera barrel system behind the bar which may be the only beer aging system like it in the world. i wonder why this brewery is not on the cover of magazines & a must stop for international foodies & beer enthusiasts?i want to visit your brewery location sometime but for now i praise your decision for not making so many ipa's. i was impressed that your brewery has 2 cicerones (including 2nd level) & 1 more in the oven, hanot only is this the best beer i've had in the area since weeping radish, the food is amazing. the chef was outstandingly personable & explained that the reason the burrito beef melted in my mouth was that it was cooked in beer 16 hours, wow! the soft drinks were all fantastic natural flavours - it has been many years since i've had Birch Beer & possibly never on tap, but i also want to enjoy the ginger ale, orange vanilla & cream soda. the ice cream was made onsite & sourced from a local creamery. the lettuce comes from a small 2 acre farm.the only downside was the overwhelming music that intruded on conversation instead of being in the background where it belongsi plan to return soon, who can say no to free pinball on tuesdays?“
“Locopops is a wonderful staple in the Durham area. Their flavors are so lovely, especially after a hot summer walk to the shop. I also love that they have mini popsicles for events- I always get cookies and cream, but have heard rave reviews about their strawberry lemonade popsicles.“
“tucked away from the main street, to find the entrance you will have to turn into a parking lot. many flavors to choose from, including some very unique ones! staff was kind and patient, especially since we took a bit of time to decide our flavors haha! they even have dairy free flavors. they have fun and unique flavors, we enjoyed the gooey buttercake and crambleberry crisp the best. would visit again if in the area“

“I love Crumbl Cookies because each cookie is unique with its own flavor. I loved the Pumpkin Caramel Cake it was so soft & fluffy like a cake. Then the Chocolate Peanut Butter cookie was so delicious the peanut butter chips hit the spot and that peanut butter mousse was right on point. I loved the Semi-Chocolate Chunk Cookie cuz it wasn’t too sweet, just right and the Toffee Crunch Cake was chocolate toffee heaven and the whip cream hit the spot too. “Oh my goodness, Goodberry’s!I just had to reach out and tell you how much I absolutely adore your store in Durham! Seriously, you have the most incredible employees ever. Val and Michael are just the best. Val is literally always beaming with a smile and her customer service is out of this world. But the best part? She makes the most divine vanilla concrete I have ever tasted! And get this, she even knows my order without me having to say a word. It’s like she reads my mind!And then there’s Michael. He always has me in stitches with his hilarious jokes. He teases me about having "blinders" on whenever Val is around, but trust me, I notice how amazing the entire team is. This store is hands down the greatest in my book. I’ve worked in customer service for over a decade and have managed teams myself, so I know a good employee when I see one. “I love this place so much. I spent many hot summer days going to pelican snowballs. It is awesome to watch them make your snow cone. And they have a nice area where you can play corn hole. The prices are very reasonable and fair. I personally never get the same flavor. I always spin the wheel and let it pick my flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes pure greatness.“

“My favorite boba place in Durham! They have multiple milk options if you're vegan/dairy-free. I've taken multiple friends there, including people who are weirded out by boba, and they can still get something they like (hot chocolate, normal tea, etc). Cute seating area by the big window plus more quiet spots in the back.“
“We stopped by for a late breakfast; first time there since take-out only during the pandemic. We were seated quickly and the coffee came instantly. Our server was great and she helped us navigate the huge menu. I had the scrambled eggs (traditional breakfast) and my husband had the Bacado Omelet. I always order my bacon well done and it arrived well done the first time (this doesn't happen often at other places). I loved the sour dough toast especially with the strawberry jelly. And the potatoes were great but there were too many to eat them all. I tasted the omelet and it was also excellent. Great all around.“
“I stopped by here when I was visiting my sister on Raleigh. She had taken my parents here a few months prior, and I was told it is a must visit. Everyone was right. The koiyaki with ube ice cream was phenomenal, and the staff was very friendly. Side note, the individual lactaids for sale at the counter were a nice touch. My delicate stomach was infinitely grateful for it that evening.“
