Committed to local business, this is a community hub with art, music, local food & produce, fresh flowers, and more than I could possibly list - no pets allowed in market though there is an artist craft market in the same area that does welcome pets. The produce is located in a covered pavilion safe from sun/rain but the rest of the market is uncovered. Free parking lot within walking distance and near a park!“

India Gate had moved to the Homedtead Shopping Center on Hwy 54 and I’m anxious to visit the new location because I enjoy their food so much.

I’m a creature of habit and always eat the lamb curry because it is so good. I keep telling myself to try something different and I will (possibly).

“We were there for a dog adoption event and I decided to try one of their ciders. I got the Tart Cherry Cider and it was really good. The location is great, but the parking is somewhat challenging to find. I love that they had a lot of ciders, since I have Celiac and am gluten free. But I would love it if some of their beer offerings were also gluten free/gluten reduced.

The space itself is awesome. They have a large game room with a pool table and arcade games, that one of my teenagers really gravitated towards.

And the dog adoption event with Freedom Ride Rescue was great! So many lovable dog options, from young to old, and the fosters were very knowledgeable about the temperament and backstory of each one. Overall, a great experience!“

“By virtue of the fabulous dishes and pastries alone, the Refectory Cafe is by far my favorite restaurant for brunch anywhere. The dishes were fresh, creative, generous and absolutely delicious, but it is the staff that sets this restaurant apart. From Pamela, their warm and friendly finance manager, to the exquisitely professional wait and service staff, they all and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a fabulous dining experience. 10/10!!“

“You have to go up to order food and drinks. The menu is limited with burgers and a hot dog option. Sides are an extra cost. The beers are great and service from the bartender was good. I’ll have to try the back patio when the weather is cooler.“

“Full service bakery that just happens to make great sandwiches! I had the chicken curry salad on sourdough which had the right amount of curry flavor with just a little kick. Cole slaw that came with it was good, and the pickle spear had a nice crunch. I'll definitely return to try their other sandwiches, and maybe one of their soups as well!“

“We received the best service from Mariah this Sat. It was a party of 25 guests, she serviced use with 100% customer service. the food was great and we were leaving a funeral which was a bad day for all, we left feeling a littler lighter, due to the our server. She is a GEM.“
