“From the warm and enthusiastic welcome to the all important “thank you for coming” Over the falls proved to be over the top. Our server was professional and engaging. He took the time to guide our choices through explanations and recommendations. I had the Pesto Parmesan flatbread with added chicken. It was amazing. The presentation was art and the flavors were oh so good. My husband had the Beef of Weckzel, which is one of the most popular. He raved about it. It was served on a warm pretzel roll with horseradish sauce and a warm au jus. My father in law had a pastrami sandwich which he loved, and my sister in law chose the Cobb salad. It also had an artful presentation. \nThe ambiance was inviting and charming. We will definitely return on our next trip to Wake Forest. A fabulous find. Thank you to the staff.“

“The Lemon Tree is such a treasure and the food is always delicious! I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying their extensive lunch menu, the special order sides at Thanksgiving, and recently we’ve been ordering the family meal plans while I’ve been recovering from a surgery. The food is always fresh and healthy, and it feels like a warm hug. And the lemon bars… highly addictive! The new location in the Renaissance Center plaza is perfect, especially now that you can browse Page158 books while you eat. It doesn’t get any better than a good meal and a good book!“

“My daughter, her bestie and I make the trip from VA to Wake Forest whenever we get a chance to get some of the fruit pastries. We usually get one of each then some to take back with us! The owner is super nice, the bakery is warm and welcoming but above all the pastries are heavenly. We have never been disappointed. I’m ready for another trip!“

“Had a great dinner here. Extensive drink menu with something for everyone. Eclectic menu that hits many different genres and somehow gets them all right! Very flavorful and well spiced food- the only exception was the Parmesan truffle fries. They really need some kind of dipping sauce or something on the side of those. I believe there was not enough Parmesan on them, because they were quite bland. Would definitely benefit from a dipping sauce. We put the dipping sauce from the Brussels sprouts appetizer onto them and that helped a lot. The Gardein option is amazing for vegan and vegetarians!“

“The carne asada fries are really good. Tender steak, real cheese, and lime sour cream that really brought all the flavors together. The Pozole was very flavorful and delicious. Shredded beef quesadilla was delicious as well, most places out here don't season their beef but this was filled with flavor. So Cal Mexican food lovers, definitely try this place. So Cal flavors with a but if an upscale flare to it.“
