“I have been here several times with my friends and colleagues. We have lunch party with my colleagues many times they provided free dessert. The quality of the food is good (both veg and nonveg). Lavina (staff of the restaurant) was excellent with both her recommendations and service. I strongly recommend this restaurant for lunch/dinner.“

“By virtue of the fabulous dishes and pastries alone, the Refectory Cafe is by far my favorite restaurant for brunch anywhere. “Have been to the apex restaurant for lunch for my husband bday for first time . The food ambience and hospitality of Praveen the manager was awesome and they surprised us with bday desert and song and made the first visit the most memorable Can’t wait to go again“

“Got a takeout order from here and it was great! Tried the dragonfruit lemonade, Punjabi by nature bowl, and the paneer burrito. All were very flavorful, and desi spicy is definitely spicy 🌶️. My partner got a normal spiced dish and it seemed good for her (she’s normally a 2 out of 5). It’s great fast casual Indian food, and I like it better than a lot of the sit down Indian places here. Seemed like they have nice seating too, so maybe I’ll try dine in next time.“

“Went to the bourbon and cigar event this past weekend, and it was phenomenal. The owners gave a thorough tour of their facility; we went through how bourbon is made and its different properties. It was quite amazing to smell and taste the difference in a single type of bourbon. The cigar-making class part was also nice; we saw how to wrap up a cigar, which looked very hard, and we were able to enjoy a cigar along with a bourbon tasting. The property is beautiful to walk around in. I definitely will be back for another event.“

What a great choice that was, the place has a great small restaurant feel the staff is great and the food, oh the food is amazing. I got their old fashioned club sandwich with onion rings. It was incredible and I had to take 1/2 of it home because I was full, that never happens. This is another must stop location.“

“I finally came to Boricua Soul after seeing them on one of the food shows. I brought my mother along and we really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere along with the food. Mom got the shrimp sandwich with collard greens and mac & cheese while I got the Boricua Bowl with fried chicken. The greens were great and while I’m not really a mac & cheese person, this mac & cheese was hitting on all cylinders. Great down to earth business where the owners are in tune with all who walk through the doors to share their space. The fact they’re located at American Tobacco in downtown Durham right by the Durham Bulls baseball stadium makes it a must stop. Defintely coming back the next time I’m in Durham when I see Mom again.“

Forget everything you know about other horchatas - this one is a floral, citrusy tisane dream (best served hot imo). Service is always fast and friendly. Lots of seating.
