This place goes on top of the list for places to eat in Durham in my opinion. Granted this would be considered a hole in the wall place, so if you are looking for a fancy restaurant this is not for you. I'm pretty sure this was the first birria taco I had ever had. I know where the heck have I been?! Gotta say very satisfying. The accompanying broth had lots of flavor, studded with some pieces of meat and a few veggies i think. The tacos were cheesy and hot and pretty damn delicious. I was a bit rushed and had to eat my tacos quickly to make it somewhere else but as they cooled off the flavors were more easily distinguishable and overall more enjoyable. Husband had three of the tacos: asada, birria, and chorizo, and according to him all three were really good. Only the birria was served with two tortillas, but the single tortilla-tacos held up, even with a liberal dose of the two salsas provided. My son had the pollo asado taco, and he rated it 4.5 out of 5 (he's 6 and he's never given something a 5/5, so this is an excellent rating for him).
