Fried chicken, greens and mac & cheese. Chicken fried to order deli y. Greens seasoned well added a splash of vinegar. Mac & cheese creamy and awesome flavor. Bug juice, like I remember as a child (a little too sweet for the adult me), still good though. Food was hot, the way food be. Everyone was very friendly, staff as well as patrons. Will be going back to try their Oxtails,yum!!!!
Don't eat FRIED CHICKEN! Unless of course, you are eating it from the Chicken Hut in Durham! I just went for the first time as I've been wanting to try it. It turns out that it's not far from a house I just bought. It's not on Park Ave so be prepared as I grew up in a poverty stricken area and learned to really appreciate the good things since there were so few. When you first enter you are greeted with a smile and very warm welcome. If it’s a line it moves at a great speed. The employees are friendly. The food is delicious and you get a large portion. I’ve been a customer for many many years.Keep up the good work and Tre keep the Legacy going 🙏🏾👍🏾❤️
