“While visiting Raleigh, we decided to order from Oakwood Pizza Box, and it did not disappoint. The pizza was outstanding—perfectly blistered crust, fresh mozzarella, bright tomato sauce, and basil that tasted incredibly fresh. Every bite had that authentic, wood-fired flavor that pizza lovers look for.

The quality of the ingredients really shines through, and the balance of sauce, cheese, and crust was spot on. Even as visitors, we can see why this place has such a great reputation.

Our servers Sophie and Ashley were kind, attentive and efficient. It was a wonderful night and I highly recommend Taverna Agora if you have a special event or just want a nice dinner.“

“Miso Ramen bar is undeniably delicious, and my son considers it his favorite ramen spot. Situated conveniently near Downtown Raleigh, the restaurant offers ample parking. I recommend arriving a bit early as there may be a short wait (reservations are not accepted), but there is bar seating available. Upon arrival, you can add your name to the waitlist, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is consistently busy, yet always well-maintained with clean facilities. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu and go the extra mile to ensure a welcoming experience. Whether dining with friends or adults, everyone can find something appetizing on the menu. Here is what we order on our most recent visit: Karage Wings $12 Pork Belly Buns (2) $9 Kids Miso Ramen with Chicken and Eggs Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl $12 The food was delicious overall, and I particularly enjoyed the wings and the pork belly bun. A tip to keep in mind: it's best to finish the wings while you're at the restaurant. If you have any leftovers and take them home, they don't reheat well.“

The food is always amazing and John our waiter (as well as the entire staff) has always treated us like family.“

My wife had shephards pie that was pretty lame and my steak came with fries that were definitely subpar and a sauce that had been sitting out so long the top had already congealed. “Recently a friend introduced me to the Oak and I was impressed well beyond my expectations. The drinks and the food are all top notch. Lots of places have “good bar food” but that’s not the case here, they have custom eats not “bar food”. There’s nothing we ordered that have us scraping up the crumbs. Justin the bartender is particularly knowledgeable and friendly, he’s a sharp guy who is eager to please and quick to serve, we never had to flag him down or ask for help, he was on the spot the whole time! I’ll be back for client lunches and meet ups for sure!“
