“I was very impressed with this place. I didn't quite know what to expect but everything was delicious. We ordered the sweet corn soup with chicken which was so delicious the flavor was well balanced. We also ordered the chili french fries in the Haka noodles with chicken. I can't wait to come back and try the food again. The service was great and it was very affordable.“

“This place was definitely worth the long road trip! Hands down one of the BEST chinese restaurants i’ve been in for a long minute. Even though the other reviews were disappointed about the taste, i was taken aback by the flavorful dishes. no offense to anyone that rated it by their own preference but i think the flavor was absolutely delicious.
The servers were also really kind and helpful! I asked them to recommend some dishes and they put out some allergies and things to take note of just in case i didn’t like something (for example spicy food). The interior was also really, really nice and gave me a good vibe while eating. I would definitely recommend for dates if you want a cozy area 😉.
Overall this place was amazing and I will definitely be coming here again! sadly i forgot to take photos but the dishes all looked appetizing 👀“

“I ended up coming here two nights in a row during my work trip, which probably says everything. There’s just a level of care here that you don’t find everywhere.
The Philly cheesesteak was actually the owner’s recommendation, and he mentioned it’s not your typical version. I decided to go for it and it really paid off. It had this great balance of hearty, a little sweet, a little tangy, with a nice crunch on the outside and really tender meat inside. I’d also suggest getting one of the soups. It felt simple, homemade, and just really satisfying. And if you get a salad, ask for the homemade dressing. It’s good enough that you’ll want more.
What stood out most though was the owner. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he’s serving and the people coming in. It makes the whole experience feel more personal.
I tried the blooming flower tea on the second night and really enjoyed it. It’s a nice way to wind down the day - something a little different that fits the vibe of the place really well.
I’ll be back next time I’m in town!“

“Ordered Singapore chow mein, lo mein, crab Rangoons and General Tso's for the first time from China Won (delivery). Hey, don't judge my tastes! Anyway, this may be the best Chinese I've had in the area, and I've lived here almost 30 years. We got it after 8pm, and it was fresh and piping hot (credit to dasher too), with very good portion size. Far exceeded expectations - be forewarned, the food was spicier than I'm used to. Great for me, some people might find it too much. The only thing I would love to see is more broccoli in the General Tso's and more crab in the Rangoon.“

“I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, and it was my parent’s first date spot after immigrating years ago. They have always been consistent with the food quality and their efforts to maintain cleanliness and care are noticeable, even if the area around the restaurant is a little sketchy. The restaurant owner talks about how he’s seen me grow up, and my parents talk about they’ve seen his son grow up. It’s obvious the owner cares about his customers. I’ve moved out to college in UNCC now, but even in my dinky apartment over 100 miles away I crave Wang’s kitchen.“

“This spot is quiet and spacious—such a nice vibe for dining in! The food tastes way better here than it does takeout, honestly. And the chefs are so thoughtful they even cooked the veggies extra soft just for my mom’s teeth. Total gem of a place with the sweetest service!“

“I’m so glad I’ve FINALLY found a good Chinese take out place in Raleigh. This is honest to god down to earth good old Americanized Chinese food. The general tso’s was actually flavorful and SPICY! The combos come with PORK fried rice for no extra charge! The food is reasonably priced! I will be back!“

“This China Wok has been in business since before I moved to Raleigh in 1992, and for it to still be in business in 2025 wow. I remember the food bring sooo good. My mother is from NY, and she said this was the closes thing to her beloved NY city Chinese food. I love this for them. I really want to plan a trip just to get some wings and fried rice.“

“The won ton soup and fried rice are delicious. The won ton soup is best I’ve found in area and the rice is fresh and tastes delicious. “The entres are some of the best of any Chineese restaurant in Raleigh.
I can't say much good about the eggrolls, but crab ragoon are pretty good.
Most people just get take-out. The seating is not as good as most quick eok restaurants.
The people working there are super friendly, work really hard, and take pride in what they serve.“

“First time going here. I’d been craving Chinese American food for a while and this place is really close to where I live. The servings are large, great value, and great taste. The teriyaki chicken skewers are tender and slightly crispy, chicken is delicious and has extra sauce that I like to use for my rice. Also the rice came in a classic white box with the metal handle, I feel like I never see those anymore so that was cool. Definitely would go back“

“The food was very flavorful (partially due to msg - I am unfortunately allergic to it and forgot to ask - but it does make the food better, so it was worth the spinal headache).
The scallops were a surprise hit. The beef with broccoli was very tasty. The moo shu was okay. The lo mein was very flavorful (likely where the msg was). The eggplant was also very good, but different than we expected.“

“By far my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area now.
First ordered them on doordash, late one evening. I knew with it being close to closing I was taking a gamble but I'm really glad I did. I've spent the past year trying other restaurants (most multiple times) around me and have been very disappointed in the quality of the sweet and sour chicken. It's always mostly breading and overcooked/hard/dry.
But I was very impressed with China Queen's, even as a delivery order 10-15 min away! Their's is made with big chunks of chicken, and the breading isn't overbearing at all! Always perfectly cooked so far!
I've ordered from them 5 times now and the quality of everything has consistently been perfect! We get the beef and broccoli with lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, pork fried rice, pork egg rolls, and crab ragoons every time. Their pork fried rice is honestly some of the best I've had! Looks like big pieces of rib meat in the rice.
Love their crab ragoons, I will say; I wish they were a tad bigger or had more filling but they're still amazing nonetheless.
They are now our go to for chinese food!“

“This is our go-to spot for take out. The staff is so nice!
Their lo mein is soooo good. I like the garlic sauce a lot - it's rich with some spice, and great mixed with white rice. You can get a spicy crispy chili oil on the side and spice things up more if you like (I do!) They usually offer it with each order. They have really great spring rolls & egg rolls, and we've branched out a few times and tried some different dishes – Phoenix & Dragon (sesame chicken & shrimp), Szechuan beef, and a few others – all good! I it's a good value, too. I can make 2-3 meals out of one dinner combo (meal choice + rice & egg roll).
Our usual order:
- Fried pork dumplings /or/
- Crab rangoon (they are the 4 corners type with a good amount of filling)
- Dinner combo: General Tso's/Sesame chicken, sub lo mein for the rice
- DC: Shrimp with Garlic Sauce (shrimp are always huge and deveined 👍)
- sometimes: Wonton Soup
I miss the traditional crispy noodles they used to have. They now come in a pre-packaged bag rather than fried in house.
I do miss the little sugar donuts from our old standby (now permanently closed), but the food here is better overall. Jin Jin does have fortune cookies!“

“One of the best, if not the best, bang for your buck downtown Raleigh lunch. For less than $11 they will stack a tray full of rice, chicken, and 2 spring rolls. Can't beat the amount of food for the price in downtown Raleigh. Also I would not give it 5 stars if it was bad food. It is pretty pretty good. Sesame chicken and general tso really hit the spot. I recommend this place.Don't order online like the bad reviews I've seen having bad experiences with that. Just walk in. It takes less than a minute to get a tray and pay“

“First time stopping in and was very pleased. I thought the food was delicious. The cashier/server was very knowledgeable and helped me make my food selection. Food was ready in under 10 minutes. Portion size was enormous for the price of the food, my wife and I both loved our dishes (spicy chicken/tofu with vegetables). Nice family operated business right downtown to get an affordable meal. Would highly recommend!“

“Went there for the first time on 2/14/2025. Ordered take-out from the dinner menu. Had the combination Hunan Chicken, sesame chicken, lo mein, crab Rangoon, & hot & sour soup. The flavors were all great!!! There is only one set back I want to mention…. “The Lo Mein” is not my preferred dish & will not order it ever again. The noodles were spaghetti noodles & does not do any justice to the dish. I was told my order was will be ready in 30 mins (I know it’s an estimate) but I got there 30 mins later & waited an additional 30 + mins….
Parking: I couldn’t find the place cause their lights were off. The parking was hard to get in & out due to heavy traffic (went around 6pm).“
“I had a gift card given to me some 1.5 years ago, and just today made my way to the store! Felt adventurous and was craving some tropical fruits. I was blown away by the variety of exotic fruits, and the extensive choice of fish. The store is, certainly, a cultural experience! My 10-year-old and I each got a smoothie - mango and pear, but I feel curious about many of the other drinks and desserts that I’d love to try. They, also, have cooked/hot food there and will bring my husband next time since he loves Asian food. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I have been eating here for the last maybe 15 years. This is my go-to place, my daughter would call me and ask me to bring in food when I leave work in Cary and drive home to Youngsville, NC(Franklin Co.). When I get home, the food is still nice and hot. It's so good, that when I wanted Hong Kong, I would drive from home, BACK to Cary to get it. Either way, it's worth it.“

“This is a family owned and operated business. They are trying very hard to please people, but some people can NOT be pleased. Everyone here is very kind, and the food is very good. Service is above standard. I have read comments on how some people don't "like" this food. That is an individual opinion. Please don't leave bad comments about the entire store just because YOU don't personally like the taste. That has NOTHING to do with anything. As far as the child (I read another comment about a child misbehaving), so it's OK for customers to bring unruly children to a restaurant, but not ok for a restaurant owners' young child to have a bad day? Do not be judging others until you, yourself are free of faults. There is nothing wrong with this business. Thank you for being here and giving us a place to eat. :)“

“Really impressed with the quality of food here. I love that the General Tso and spicy chicken were actually spicy when most places have us forgetting that they are supposed to be. We came in at less than an hour before close and never felt rushed or that we were a bother. The place was super clean, no ice cream bar or fortune cookies, just good food. Will definitely be back.“

“The place does not disappoint, the food is fire, and it has become my go-to Chinese takeout spot. The food is made to order so if come out hot and fresh. It’s not greasy, really flavorful and well seasoned. The chicken is always juicy yet crispy. We usually get the general tso’s chicken, house special egg fu young, house special lo mein, shrimp egg rolls, chicken wings and steamed pork dumplings - all of it is soo good, and way better than the last 3 Chinese restaurants in the area that we tried before finding this spot.“

“I was skeptical about going here so to the bad reviews but it was 2 minutes from my house. Seems like a family owned and run restaurant with children there helping and doing their homework. I ordered the Szechuan chicken with white rice and triple delight with white rice from the house special section and then 2 shrimp egg rolls. I personally thought it was good for fast food Chinese food and also had chicken wings with house special fried rice. I would go back again.“

“My GOODNESS! I have so much to say. Let’s start off with aesthetic beauty of the exterior. The brick layers paired with the modern architecture is truly a 21st century masterpiece of construction. Then when I got in, I was greeted by the wonderful waitress named Corel. Corel remembered our order (and our names!?) on the first try - me and my friends were very impressed. Then she got us our food and we ate it and we were like just wow yum dang. Now are all full and are going home. Thank you Corel.“
