“Highly recommend: Thai curry & honey-chili wings! Very flavorful menu & juicy, well-done chicken! Great customer service too! Anil was very attentive - thank you! Expect Asian fusion. I think it's Indo-Chinese inspired; but the curry tasted more Indian than Thai (still delicious either way). Will definitely return again & will add new updates, yummy food/photos we try here! Would recommend this place!“
“The waiter was soooo nice and he taughtMe and my mom about eating healthy and I'm 10 and I chose this place to eat at.It was sooooo good 100% Do recommendKid-friendliness: I'm a kid and the waiter was so nice and he taught me alot to eat healthier.“
“Had lunch here while in the area. Good food at a good price. The egg drop soup had great flavor and consistency. The basil chicken had a lot of chicken. The sauce was a bit sweet for my taste but it was fine because they didn’t have too much of it. My lunch was under $11 before tip. The restaurant doesn’t have a lot of seating but has a pleasant atmosphere.“
“About 5 years ago my family moved. In transition I stayed (with our cat) at an airbnb near this restraunt. The woman who owned the home told me I had to try Imperial Garden (I was planning on Cheesecake Factory)I'm SO GLAD she suggested this lovely restraunt.Sit down, made to order Chinese reatraunts are dying out unfortunately. This one was GREAT from the second I walked in.People there are really nice...I live an hour away and try to eat there at least once a year...I was remembered every time I returned (which is always nice) I like to go when it's cold out and get hot Oolong tea :) and it was a nice surprise to have a fella playing Christmas songs on the piano.I really liked the hot tea, wonton soup, dumplings, and sesame beef.I get the booth in the far corner....unscrew the little light bulb at my table..and pop a movie on while I eat solo...and I am a happy man! Can't wait to go back.“
“If you're in Raleigh, NC, this restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. Having lived in Raleigh for the past five years, this place has been a go-to for me time and time again. Michelle, the owner, is the heart and soul of this establishment. Her warmth and care extend not only to her staff but also to every single customer who walks through the door.I can't count the number of times I've recommended this place to friends and family visiting from out of town, and every time, they leave just as impressed as I am. Whether it's the delicious food, the cozy atmosphere, or the exceptional service, this restaurant always delivers an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a place to dine where you'll feel welcomed and appreciated, look no further. This restaurant is a true Raleigh treasure that I'll continue to support and recommend for years to come!“
“Excellent place and I like the speed and attention they serve to visitors in this place. And they have very good prices, a lot of variety, excellent service and all the precautionary and security measures they have. Everything you can get here you can be sure will always be top quality.“
“Like having Sunday dinner with family, if your family is Asian and runs an excellent, busy restaurant. Extensive menu from a wide range of cuisines, artfully served apps, generous portions, cozy booths and back dining room, plus outdoor seating. Everything is available for carefully packaged takeout. Fun family atmosphere with consistently good food and service.Parking: Huge strip mall lot, crosswalks and speed bumps with high visibility, wide, mostly covered sidewalk. Clean and well maintained shopping center.“
“I never eat in the restaurant it self, but I love the food, it does seem like the chicken wings have gotten smaller. But with so many steroids in food it might be good that they chicken is not huge .Parking: Lots of parking , but there are homeless people that also stay in the tree areas , so make sure you lock your car and hide what is valuable.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there are handicap place that people can park .“
“Didn't go in, but have had multiple orders delivered. The food is fresh, hot, and tasty. I cannot comment on napkin size because it's not relevant. I even got an order wrong, and the store called me to clarify. That doesn't happen anymore.“
“If you’re lookin for the Best fresh Chinese Food, “Look No Further!!”…this is that “Hidden Gem”…Oh my Goodness……great tasting food, awesome portions, & great prices!!!…my wife & I have smiles inside our stomachs ?. Sorry we don’t have photos! We are too fast!!!“
“The only thing that I don’t like is the mistreatment of the live animals that are at the “Asian Market Section.” I understand that they are there to be sold to be eaten.(But they don’t have to suffer first).Other than that, Great place for grocery shopping. And the bakery is very delicious.“
“First time we have visited this restaurant, but not the first time tasting their food. So, here goes. Quaint. Tidy, and tucked away in a college neighborhood. All great things. Was there a wait to be seated? There was not - but, that didn't mean this wasn't a great spot for dinner. Our first course was (of course) their hot soups. I had Wonton and my husband had David's Hot & Sour. So good. We ordered Jasmine tea - took awhile to steep, but isn't that always the way with tea? After soup, we had Fried Vietnamese Vegetable Spring Rolls. These were good, and we also had David's Original Half-Fried Dumplings. You get five of these big guys. We split the Sesame Chicken and Beef Lo Mein Egg Noodles. Even the steamed rice was delicious. Tender chunks of chicken in a sweet sauce with small stalks of broccoli, and the beef was tender and easy to chew. I would have to say that their portions were small. We did not take anything home with us (at other Asian places, and for the amount of money we spent, we would get a second at-home meal). Not the case here. You get fresh, hot food or average portion size, and you leave what's left (empty plates). Staff were accommodating. We were told at the time that their systems were acting slowly, so in order to process our order, everything had to be entered all at once. My husband and I are never rushed, and we don't enjoy everything coming out of the kitchen at once. However, we were informed of what they were doing to get hot food out to us. We appreciated this information. I would say, "go here and try it!" The "industrial" decor is fitting for its location. Everything is casual - even the person seating us wore jeans and sneakers. We will go back, and bring others with us.“
“I ordered from this restaurant for the first time today, and I'm pleased I did since the food was amazing and the service was excellent. The establishment only accepted cash, which was fine by me. I will most certainly return to this restaurant again really soon.“
“03/24Amazing food and service! The food is packaged very well and we have never experienced any problems taking it home. The owner is very nice.(Call to place your order: take out only)We call in our order and it takes 25 minutes to get there and it’s ready for pick up when we arrive. The food is always hot and fresh.“
“Food is good, hit and miss on the broccoli one day the broccoli is perfect the next day it’s so hard it’s difficult to chew. Please make sure you tell them exactly how you want your food prepared. Location is great I get to order food and run to the grocery store to pick up a few things and back to pick up my food“
“This is my fiance and I’s favorite restaurant in Raleigh! I order at least twice a week and have never had an incorrect order, poorly cooked item, or cold food. The folks who work here and own the location are so kind and every dish we have had has been fabulous with fresh produce and quality meats. We love Jumbo China!“
“I have lived in the area all my life. Never eaten here much in the past because of low sanitation grade. So I was pleasantly surprised when I walked by and saw 98.5. so I got an egg roll. Just to try. Best egg roll I have ever eaten. New owners? I will go back for lunch tomorrow and give my review.“
“This place has great food and while you can eat in, I would not recommend it. All dishes are what you think of when you think traditional Chinese takeout. Wontons with meat, a flavorful homemade red sweet and sour sauce, great soups! There's always a short line so best is to order ahead and pick up. Good food with reasonable prices!“
“Food is not bad. Quantity is ok but if they could take the price down by a notch, it'd be better. There are more Chinese takeouts that offer cheaper rates for similar plates. Spending nearly $12 for a meal is an overkill here in North Carolina. Even in New York, it costs you like $10 for a single chinese takeout.“
“One of the best, if not the best, bang for your buck downtown Raleigh lunch. For less than $11 they will stack a tray full of rice, chicken, and 2 spring rolls. Can't beat the amount of food for the price in downtown Raleigh. Also I would not give it 5 stars if it was bad food. It is pretty pretty good. Sesame chicken and general tso really hit the spot. I recommend this place.Don't order online like the bad reviews I've seen having bad experiences with that. Just walk in. It takes less than a minute to get a tray and pay“
“I have been going to this place for over 5 years , and every time I go this place don’t have shrimp Egg Foo young. How do a restaurant that is suppose to be really good doesn’t have shrimp Egg Foo young especially on Fridays and Saturdays early in the day. I stop going there because they are very inconsistent with their food“
“First off I'm not a big fan of Chinese food. My son had this delivered tonight and I was totally surprised on how much I liked it. We had Gen Tso and chicken lo main and it was the best I've ever eaten to date (I'm 62, so I've eaten my share of this combo) hats off to the cook tonight, I'll be coming here again in the very near future and we will see if this will be my go to Chinese restaurant in the future?“
“The poor ratings scared me off at first, yet we were in the area and figured we’d take a chance. I’m glad we did. We ordered the Mongolian beef, lettuce wraps, and spicy chicken. They were all cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The host packaged it all up to go and put utensils, fortune cookies, and soy sauce in the bag. I know that the extras are expected, yet a nice touch to automatically do it for the customer. The location is a little set back from the main area near Lowe’s and it wasn’t busy at all for lunch. That was a concern at first, but very happy we tried.Parking: Lots of space to park during lunch hours in a strip mall near Lowe’s Foods“
“You WILL NOT be disappointed! Lunch is not served after 2:30...Lunch buffet close to $12 w/drink... CAN'T beat this! Small buffet...Nice little crowd ...(Gets BUSY...during the week! NO buffet on the wknd! ONLY takeout...Take out during the week, as well.“
“This was the best Chinese food I have ever had. We ordered pork dumplings, seseme chicken, sweet and sour chicken/shrimp, pork egg rolls, shrimp egg rolls, and their lo mein. Everything was yummy. If you are looking for the best Chinese food in the area, come here.“
“I love the sushi, miso soup, and the lunch bento ? is great option if you want to try couple dishes with little amount. However, the dumpling wasn’t really amaze me because it’s a bit dry and not so savory. Overall, it’s not bad experience.“
“We’ve been going to Handy for our Chinese cuisine for a few years now but I have to say that yesterdays order was outstanding. The Food was great! From the teriyaki chicken sticks, to the spare ribs, & fried chicken wings and the beef n broccoli. Very happy with all our food and their service. I will continue to recommend them to my friends.“
“I found Peace China on Uber eats and what a pleasant surprise! I don’t typically do much Chinese take out but now, I CRAVE Peace China. I am a retired chef and am very picky and critical when it comes to food. Everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The takeout was even perfectly packaged. It’s obvious they take pride in what they’re doing…and deservedly so. Bravo, Peace China! I can’t wait for my next order!Vegetarian options: I’m not a vegetarian, but they do have a lot of vegetarian dishes.Dietary restrictions: Their menu lists many gluten free and vegetarian options. They seem to take care to offer something for everyone.Kid-friendliness: A lot of kid friendly options and an impressive kids menu.“
“This place is amazing! It's the best chinese food I have ever tried! I have been coming here for years since I was a little kid and it became a family tradition, the flavor never changes and has always been delicious! They are also very clean have always had a neat restaurant!“
“Have been hankering Chinese food lately and ordered from Jumbo China on a whim a few days ago. Loved it so much that we ordered the same again today and it's consistently great!General Tso Chicken (with House rice), Ho Fun shrimp (extra spicy), Ho Fun vegetables, Crab rangoons, Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls - all perfectly cooked and neatly packed.Thank you Jumbo China, you guys are fantastic!“
“July 2023 Update - Still high quality cheap Chinese, not quite up to Fu Kee, but my #2 in Raleigh area. Food is a little less plentiful than it used to be, but still more than enough. There is no atmosphere to speak of, but the food is great and ready quickly. Kung Po and Hunan chicken were excellent.BIG PLUS - on a big order they LABELED the meals, and stapled them closed. When two of the takeout orders fell over in my car, I was able to right them before they spilled.June 2018 - Probably the best cheap Chinese within driving range of my work. Food is tasty and plentiful. Lady who takes orders is a little hard to understand, but understood our complicated order perfectly, and was super polite and helpful when I had questions. Food was ready less than 15 minutes after we ordered 8 lunch specials, and everyone's food was exactly as ordered.“
“This Chinese restaurants food always comes out hot and fresh tasting. The meat is always tender, the crab Rangoon driping with crabby cheese, it's almost perfect. It's gonna be your typical Chinese restaurant menu, but it's different in quality at each location, and here, you will find the best quality.“
“My fiancé and I Ordered the sesame chicken. It was a little bit of a wait but the pay off was the most fresh and tasty sesame chicken. The place was a bit unkept but the staff was very nice. Also, it was basically $20 even for A LOT of food for the both of us. Get the “
“Great food and good service. This was our first time at a place like this and It wasn't exactly busy but Nathan was manning the front and did great. He was attentive, gave us good descriptions, answered our questions, and helped us fill out the tickets. The food was really good, you pick out all of your ingredients and they cook it hibachi style and have a selection of Asian inspired sauces. Price is on par with Chinese takeout But this is generally better quality overall. The weight and food cooks down a lot so load up your plate with more than you think you need. Highly recommend.I'm not sure if the soda fountain was working because we just got water. They do have bottled beverages in the cooler but that's not ideal if you're dining in.“
“Place is hit or miss. When you hit, you hit big, when you miss, it's a 100% flop. With a name like Spring Rolls, you would expect there to be like 20 different kinds of spring rolls on the menu...... Nope, just 1 smh ?♂️. Sesame Chicken is by far the best thing on the menu, easily the BEST sesame chicken you'll ever have. This most recent visit yielded burnt fried rice, over cooked noodles and poor service. The visit before that was perfect. One day they'll nail down the consistency. Until then, good luck!“
“Tracy is amazing!!! I have been coming to this PF Changs for over 20 years. For the past five years, I have known Tracy and she has given exceptional service and has always had a smile on her face and has never had a negative attitude. In 2020, I had my 21st birthday party dinner at PF Chang's. I spoke with Tracy and her manager and arranged for her to work my party. It was the best party I ever had and I don't drink alcohol, so it was a dry party. Tracy and PF Chang's always make my birthday special, which is why I come every year.In conclusion, PF Chang's is a very clean restaurant with extremely assistive staff and the ambiance is unbeatable.I love this restaurant and will continue to eat here for the foreseeable future :DP.S. I have attached a selfie of the lunch I am currently sitting down at PF Chang's to eat. I got the lunch Mongolian Beef Bowl with no vegetables on top of lo mein noodles! Yummy!!“
