Good flavor and a nice heat level. White meat chicken with a bit of broccoli, and the rice tasted solid. Could’ve been crunchier.

Boneless spareribs 6.9/10
Super tasty and really tender. Fresh, not too fatty, and the flavor was right on. Easily one of the better ones around.

Crab rangoons 4.4/10
The filling tasted great. The shell just didn’t get crispy, so it came off kind of soft instead of crunchy.“

“We’ve been coming here for YEARS and it never disappoints. It’s not a fancy place, far from it, but the staff are very friendly and highly efficient. From the chicken chow mein to the house fried rice to anything on the hibachi grill to all types of sushi, it’s always been delicious. Today we tried the shrimp fried rice and Szechuan lo mein with pork/chicken - YUMMY.“

“I ended up coming here two nights in a row during my work trip, which probably says everything. There’s just a level of care here that you don’t find everywhere.

The Philly cheesesteak was actually the owner’s recommendation, and he mentioned it’s not your typical version. I decided to go for it and it really paid off. It had this great balance of hearty, a little sweet, a little tangy, with a nice crunch on the outside and really tender meat inside. I’d also suggest getting one of the soups. It felt simple, homemade, and just really satisfying. And if you get a salad, ask for the homemade dressing. It’s good enough that you’ll want more.

What stood out most though was the owner. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he’s serving and the people coming in. It makes the whole experience feel more personal.

I tried the blooming flower tea on the second night and really enjoyed it. It’s a nice way to wind down the day - something a little different that fits the vibe of the place really well.

“I don’t usually go for Asian food, but China Won completely changed my mind. This is by far the best Chinese takeout spot in the area. The gentleman at the front cashier is absolutely amazing—I’ve never seen a fast food restaurant provide service this good. He’s always friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about customers. Whenever I’m unsure about a dish, he takes the time to explain everything patiently, in such a calm and gentle way, never rushing or showing any impatience. That kind of service is rare and truly goes above and beyond.

Honestly, sometimes it feels like I come here just for the service, not only for the food. The food is always fresh, delicious, and better than any other place nearby. “This China Wok has been in business since before I moved to Raleigh in 1992, and for it to still be in business in 2025 wow. I remember the food bring sooo good. My mother is from NY, and she said this was the closes thing to her beloved NY city Chinese food. I love this for them. I really want to plan a trip just to get some wings and fried rice.“

“By far my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area now.
First ordered them on doordash, late one evening. I knew with it being close to closing I was taking a gamble but I'm really glad I did. I've spent the past year trying other restaurants (most multiple times) around me and have been very disappointed in the quality of the sweet and sour chicken. It's always mostly breading and overcooked/hard/dry.
But I was very impressed with China Queen's, even as a delivery order 10-15 min away! Their's is made with big chunks of chicken, and the breading isn't overbearing at all! Always perfectly cooked so far!
I've ordered from them 5 times now and the quality of everything has consistently been perfect! We get the beef and broccoli with lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, pork fried rice, pork egg rolls, and crab ragoons every time. Their pork fried rice is honestly some of the best I've had! Looks like big pieces of rib meat in the rice.
Love their crab ragoons, I will say; I wish they were a tad bigger or had more filling but they're still amazing nonetheless.

“One of the best, if not the best, bang for your buck downtown Raleigh lunch. For less than $11 they will stack a tray full of rice, chicken, and 2 spring rolls. “Best egg rolls in town, and I’ve checked. The Mei fun is awesome. The egg foo yung is awesome. It’s absolutely worth the hassle of going to pick it up. I am picky about my Chinese food and once I found Jin Jin, I haven’t been anywhere else. It’s take out, you can dine in if you want but it’s a take out joint with tables. It’s the best takeout. It’s consistent. The egg rolls and dumplings are made in house, not frozen. This is my go-to place, my daughter would call me and ask me to bring in food when I leave work in Cary and drive home to Youngsville, NC(Franklin Co.). Service is above standard. I have read comments on how some people don't "like" this food. That is an individual opinion. Please don't leave bad comments about the entire store just because YOU don't personally like the taste. That has NOTHING to do with anything. As far as the child (I read another comment about a child misbehaving), so it's OK for customers to bring unruly children to a restaurant, but not ok for a restaurant owners' young child to have a bad day? “I had a gift card given to me some 1.5 years ago, and just today made my way to the store! Felt adventurous and was craving some tropical fruits. I was blown away by the variety of exotic fruits, and the extensive choice of fish. The store is, certainly, a cultural experience! My 10-year-old and I each got a smoothie - mango and pear, but I feel curious about many of the other drinks and desserts that I’d love to try. “The food was really good. Not many places offer general tso shrimp. Food was flavorful, I bought several dinners and did not expect it to be 80 bucks out the door but damn was it good. I had shrimp lo mein, reg house lo mein, shrimp tso, egg rolls, sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken and it was amazing. Came with white rice and it was good too. “I recently moved to the neighborhood and decided to give them a try. Everything was delicious! I ordered Shrimp Lo Mein w/onions only and a shrimp egg roll. EVERYTHING was made fresh! The egg roll was nice & crispy and not saturated with oil, the shrimp in the lomein was PLENTIFUL and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Most importantly, the delivery time was only 15mins! I Will definitely be ordering again REAL SOON!“

“The OG of Chinese hole in the wall restaurants. Not a place where you’ll find orange-sauced chicken nuggets but an obvious neighborhood favorite judging from the continual to-go traffic. We enjoyed generous portions of chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. One star withheld for greasy egg rolls. The egg drop soup lacked flavor (to me) but the egg was very tender. The atmosphere was lacking but the prices make up for it; $16 each for our meals plus counter tip.“
