Fun DipPot - Instant Hot Pot/Szechuan Flavor/Dim Sum is a small place, so be careful with a big group. The food is delicious, with a great selection of items for hotpot. The broth is spicy and tasty, with fresh veggies and meat. Ordering 1 bowl is big enough for 2 adults, and takeout also offers a huge portion. The medium spicy isn't very hot, so get the spicy one. The dim sum is really good, with favorites like shrimp dumplings, sesame balls, steamed egg custard buns, siu mai, spring rolls, and lotus leaf with rice and pork. The staff is helpful. It tastes just like authentic Chinese instant hotpot (Ma La Tang), less time consuming and convenient for an easy individual lunch or dinner. Parking is street parking on Hillsborough st, difficult during rush hours and weekends.
