“I 💛 this man! I had a special request & he worked very hard to get it right. It turned out great! The Fountain soda tastes great. Atmosphere is relaxing. The lady had a beautiful black blouse with🌹 on it. This was this morning, I’m ready to go back Now!“

“I wasn't expecting much when visiting this place. I looked up Chinese food and it was the closest thing nearby. I walk into the establishment and I am transported to a different place. People are eating and enjoying each others company. The walls are decorated with all sorts of stuff. It brought me back to my trip to San Francisco or even a great spot I had in hells kitchen. I wish I had dined in instead of take out. For dinner that night I ordered general tso's chicken, lo Mein, and egg rolls. Every menu item I had was phenomenal. This was the first time I had tso's chicken with an actual kick to it. The lo Mein was incredibly savory. I'm probably going to go her again next week and dine in.“

“Upon entering you are greeted with a friendly welcome, the food is fresh and it tastes amazing. The price is very reasonable for the portion of food. I have been coming back due to the service and quality of food. The portions are big enough for one or two people depending on how hungry you are, some dishes could use a bit more meat but this is a personal preference I’m sure you could ask for double the meat for an additional cost.“

“Every time I come to RTP, I like to get a dragon and phoenix from this place. It's always delicious. I even got it two days in a row this week. Yum!
6 years later, I made it a point to revist this place when I was in town again. Still great food.“

“8:30pm : My husband and I got “Sesame Chicken” and “General Tso” and it was very fresh, hot, and crispy. The restaurant was clean, smelled good, and the service was quick/friendly. Best takeout experience i’ve had. Will definitely be coming here again.“

“Quaint restaurant in a quiet plaza.
We came here during a week night, we were the only persons until half an hour later, another party of three came in.
Restaurant is clean, minimum decoration.
We ordered a chicken broccoli and a Kung Pao chicken, both dishes are quite OK, much better than the other Taipei in downtown, but it’s not really worth to spend almost $50 for a just OK meal.
The lady, probably manager was the only one we saw, she greeted, took orders, brought the food, the bills etc…she was very nice, very attentive, and efficient!“

“The grilled skewers are packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and truly capture the authentic “jianghu” street-food style. The hotpot broth is rich and comforting, making this the perfect spot whether you’re craving BBQ, hotpot, or both.
There’s a great variety of options—beef, lamb, chicken, seafood, and plenty of tasty small dishes. Portions are generous and everything tastes fresh. The staff are friendly, attentive, and the service is quick. The restaurant is clean, bright, and ideal for family dinners, gatherings with friends, or anyone wanting a fun dining experience.
Prices run around $30–50, and considering the quality and variety, it’s definitely worth it.
Highly recommend this place if you enjoy flavorful skewers and a satisfying hotpot meal!“

“Nestled in a quaint corner, Acacia Tree Asian Cuisine 玖食餐厅 serves up a variety of delectable dishes tailored to appeal to the average palate. However, one can't help but notice that the menu lacks a certain breadth — variety is not its strong suit. This limitation, coupled with its somewhat hidden location and the constant influx of traffic near the entrance, has resulted in modest business performance. The safety concerns associated with navigating the busy streets further deter potential diners from giving the establishment a chance.
In light of these obstacles, the restaurant has ingeniously turned to the popular WeChat platform, setting up a dedicated group where food enthusiasts can enjoy a special offer: a set of four carefully crafted dishes for just $45. This package even allows for the delightful option of customizing one dish to better suit individual preferences, a thoughtful touch that acknowledges the diverse tastes of its clientele.
While the decision to create a WeChat group reflects a modern approach to customer engagement, it raises an interesting question about whether restaurants in less visible locations should rely so heavily on digital platforms to reach their audience. Initially, one might perceive this tactic as merely a workaround for a physical space that’s less than inviting due to its surroundings. However, this digital pivot also presents a unique opportunity for the restaurant to engage more meaningfully with its customers, fostering a sense of community that transcends geographical limitations.
In my opinion, Acacia Tree Asian Cuisine could benefit from not only refining its menu to introduce a wider array of options but also capitalizing on its digital initiatives to engage customers further. Imagine monthly themed dining experiences highlighted within the WeChat group, or perhaps collaborations with local food bloggers to enhance their visibility. Ultimately, while the challenges are significant, they also open the door for innovative strategies that could elevate the restaurant's presence and attract a more diverse clientele.“
