“Wow! My husband and I have been dying to try Morning Rolls! We stopped this morning finally and so impressed. Not only were the cinnamon rolls the absolute best we’ve ever had…. I was honestly so blown away with the customer service. The gentleman at the register smiled, asked us how we were doing and said good morning to everyone who walked in. That alone has me sold all day long. Good customer service is so hard to find these days…. But kudos to Morning Rolls! You guys are awesome!“

“I first tried Dampf BBQ many years ago when they were still out at the fairgrounds, and I can honestly say it has remained the best and most consistent barbecue I’ve had both in this state and across the country. I’ve traveled extensively during my military career, which has given me the chance to try some truly great barbecue spots nationwide. Even with all that experience, Dampf BBQ is still my number one. The meat is always incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and cooked with the kind of care you can taste in every bite. Beyond the food, the people here make the experience even better. This is a dedicated, family-owned, local business that clearly takes pride in what they do. I’ve seen comments about wait times and pricing, but in my opinion, anything truly good is worth waiting for, and anything made with real quality is worth paying for. I drive an hour just to get this barbecue, and I’ve never once been disappointed. It’s consistently excellent, every single time. If you’re on the fence… don’t be. It’s 100% worth the trip. Give it a shot.“

“We had an amazing experience late after a play on a Thursday night. The food was fantastic and our waitress (Lydia) was the best ever. We ordered what she recommended and it was scrumptious. “Awesome place for the whole family. Amazing ice cream. Wide selection of flavors. Some inside seating or out back deck with chairs and tables some rocking chairs too. Sit on steps or bring a blanket to sit on on the grass field so kids can run and play and admire the cows in the pasture. A great place to be with friends and family to enjoy the best farm fresh ice cream made on site with milk from the NC State dairy.“

“This was my first visit to the Raleigh location on May 28, 2025 with two out of town guests. three diff dishes were ordered..brisket, St. Louis rubbed ribs and burnt ends. The brisket and burnt ends were amazing. The ribs however were dry and tough. The meat certainly did not fall off the bone. I would not recommend the ribs based on this experience.“

Seriously though good food. Got a dozen donuts, little of everything. All excellent. Their style is a heavier cakey donut, not the light Krispy Kreme style. But I prefer the hearty donuts so I loved it.“

“Great little neighborhood deli in N. Raleigh area. Ordered the Grand Gobbler on focaccia (bread was perfect & so fresh) & the potato salad (literally some of the best I’ve ever had). It was all so plentiful & so very good! Place has a very simple, but tasteful menu. Super nice staff working Sabrina & (Dalton brought our food out & spoke) he always does a perfect job on preparing our sandwiches! 🥪 Overall service was great! Definitely a must for a quick lunch stop! Will definitely be back asap!“

2. I adore the staff. They are the best and they make me feel like I am part of a community because they always remember me when I come in.
3. I am just so happy this exists in my neighborhood and I am always very happy to recommend that folks come here. I love taking my friends and family from out of town here.

“This place has the best ice cream. Unfortunately, it does not have the best employees. Every single time I’ve been there in the last two years, my order has been wrong. Stopped by and ordered two sundaes tonight. Both of them had the wrong flavors in them. Like, not even close. We ended up throwing them away. Was going to complain but the kid that made them was running the register so I figured what’s the point. So, great ice cream when you get what you order. I’ve kind of forgotten what that’s like but I’m still recommending them.“

“I've been a customer here since it opened in 2011. My friends and I always come here as a hangout spot whenever we're in downtown Raleigh. Great selection of beer, great prices, and very welcoming atmosphere. The owner and the staff are top notch people that are knowledgeable and accommodating. Cannot recommend this place enough.“

“Raleigh Brewing is so incredible. I have been here multiple times and love the atmosphere and beer (my favorite is the Hell Yes Ma’am). My now wife and I decided to have our wedding here. Interacting with Catherine, their event and communications coordinator, was excellent. She was very responsive and willing to answer all of our questions. She also was willing to meet with us multiple times before our event to make sure we were comfortable with everything and to answer any questions we had. We went with the Hoppy Lounge and option to have a private bartender and event staff personnel and that was such an excellent choice! The space was perfect for what we needed and we were able to set up the tables how we wanted. Our bartender, Jenna, and event dedicated staff member, Adam, were so incredible. We were so happy with our experience and will definitely be there again for drinks and any event we want to host in the future.“

I went into this location about 1 hr before closing and the associate on staff, Carnell, was super helpful! “My friends & I went last night for dinner. We had cocktails at the bar and the bartender was not friendly at all and barely spoke at all. It was definitely awkward. We got to our table and had Destiny as our server. She was so friendly and amazing to us. We got the queso appetizer and the avocado bombs. I loved the queso!!!! I never tried the other appetizer. I got the Cesar salad, prime rib and mashed potatoes. The dinner was delicious! I asked for the prime rib medium rare- it was medium but it was still good. We will definitely be back.“
