“I tried the Tonkotsu ramen and it was one of the best I had in authenticity in the Triangle. The subtle umami of the broth definitely was not using MSG, but only could be made by a traditional 14 hour plus cook to create it.. for me this was a very authentic traditional broth that has a very balanced delicious flavor profile. If you don’t like that MSG after taste this small ramen shop is a gem of a place. I highly recommend this place, the noodles were springy and I definitely drank all the broth. I also got a free Mohito for lunch that was refreshing and the price and portion was perfectly sized for my Monday lunch. The Chasu was standard, but everything was very balanced. Will definitely go back to try the other ramens“

A lot of love was put into this shop. I don't get that feeling from every retailer, so this stood out to me. This shop represents what it means to support small businesses.

“Honestly I just had the best which wich sandwich i’ve ever had. I’ve ordered the same thing before at other locations and it’s been extremely messy but this sandwich was layered perfectly it was so easy to eat. I get a turkey vibewich with provolone, spinach, mushrooms and red onions (it’s gas). I went and told them they forgot the mushrooms (because they usually take up a lot of space) and they were like “nah check again” and they were RIGHT. They had just layered the mushrooms in perfectly between the cheese and meat. 10/10 sandwich building had to leave a review and i let the staff know they did a great job.“

This is a dedicated, family-owned, local business that clearly takes pride in what they do. I’ve seen comments about wait times and pricing, but in my opinion, anything truly good is worth waiting for, and anything made with real quality is worth paying for. I drive an hour just to get this barbecue, and I’ve never once been disappointed. It’s consistently excellent, every single time. If you’re on the fence… don’t be. It’s 100% worth the trip. “The food was great! I had the shrimp and grits, potatoes and Belgian waffle. The waffle was the best. The shrimp and grits were creamy and seasoned very well. The grits could've been a little thicker for me but they were good. The biscuits were soft and the jelly was really good! I also had a latte which was delicious. I enjoyed it all! Everyone I was with enjoyed everything! The service was decent. It took a bit to get my coffee but she did a good job! The prices are great and there's plenty of parking. I'm a hour away but I would definitely take another trip back there! I highly recommend and I will return! Great breakfast!“

As stressful as that could have been, Kathie did everything to ease our stress. She calmed this Momma's heart and executed everything to a "T". “Recently a friend introduced me to the Oak and I was impressed well beyond my expectations. The drinks and the food are all top notch. Lots of places have “good bar food” but that’s not the case here, they have custom eats not “bar food”. There’s nothing we ordered that have us scraping up the crumbs. Justin the bartender is particularly knowledgeable and friendly, he’s a sharp guy who is eager to please and quick to serve, we never had to flag him down or ask for help, he was on the spot the whole time! I’ll be back for client lunches and meet ups for sure!“

Was going to complain but the kid that made them was running the register so I figured what’s the point. So, great ice cream when you get what you order. “As always, everything that I have gotten at Aladdins has been fresh and deliscious. They have always had the best iced tea until a few evenings ago. Pick up a togo order and 2 teas. The tea had an very off taste to it like it was old tea. While I have had that in may restaurants, mostly fast food places, not once has it happened at Aladdins. Always the best.“
