Beautiful place with good, reasonably priced wine and snack options. Friendly service too. (We would have loved a little music, but it was still a great experience.) Will definitely be back.
Owners are very nice. Grounds are beautiful. Veranda white wine was my favorite. Good place to take a break and relax.
Cloer Family Vineyards is absolutely the best locally owned vineyard around! It’s conveniently located just off 540, yet it feels like a tucked-away hidden gem. I recently attended a wonderful flower arranging class they hosted here, and the owner was incredibly friendly, even offering a complimentary glass of wine to everyone in attendance. The entire property is exceptionally neat, tidy, and perfectly decorated. It’s a beautiful spot with amazing hospitality—highly recommend!

Guests can enjoy a flight of wine, which is highly recommended for its delicious taste, along with local cheeses, and are welcome to bring their own food. The owner, Pam, is personable and friendly, making visitors feel at home. The property is beautifully landscaped with flowers and plants, creating semi-private seating areas for guests to enjoy the wine and each other's company. While the winery has limited hours, it is a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Families with children can appreciate the play area, as well as the pond with ducks and other animals. Cloer Family Vineyards is a great venue for various events, such as birthday parties, engagement celebrations, or small group outings, and it is set on a former tobacco farm that contributes to the charm of North Carolina. Overall, it is a wonderful place to spend a lovely afternoon.
