“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

“The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. This is an environment that will put a smile on your face, Ben and staff are simply exceptional, every visit feels like coming home to dinner. “I recently visited Oak City Brewing Company and had a great experience overall. The atmosphere is super laid-back and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing after a long day. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and I love how spacious it feels.

Their drink selection is solid with a nice variety, and the cider was definitely my favorite—super refreshing and flavorful. Everything I tried tasted fresh and well-made.

What really stood out to me was the vibe—friendly staff, good music, and just an easygoing energy that makes you want to stay longer. It’s definitely a great local spot to unwind.

“Really enjoyed the brisket nachos- solid flavor everytime. The quesadillas are huge! We also ordered the guac this time (usually go for the chips & queso) and while it tasted fresh it was missing the heat factor I’m used to. Be aware- there are no open restrooms! When we asked where we could wash hands/ change our baby’s diaper we were told to go across the street to the public park restrooms.“

“Wow! My husband and I have been dying to try Morning Rolls! We stopped this morning finally and so impressed. Not only were the cinnamon rolls the absolute best we’ve ever had…. I was honestly so blown away with the customer service. The gentleman at the register smiled, asked us how we were doing and said good morning to everyone who walked in. That alone has me sold all day long. Good customer service is so hard to find these days…. But kudos to Morning Rolls! You guys are awesome!“

“We had an amazing experience late after a play on a Thursday night. The food was fantastic and our waitress (Lydia) was the best ever. We ordered what she recommended and it was scrumptious. “Sunday brunch was delicious. Mala Pata is a fantastic dining experience all around! The food is absolutely delicious—we tried their bunuelos and pork carnitas and grits dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and has a great vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy your time.

What really stood out was the excellent service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend Mala Pata if you’re looking for a memorable meal with great food, ambiance, and service!“

“Great little neighborhood deli in N. Raleigh area. Ordered the Grand Gobbler on focaccia (bread was perfect & so fresh) & the potato salad (literally some of the best I’ve ever had). It was all so plentiful & so very good! Place has a very simple, but tasteful menu. Super nice staff working Sabrina & (Dalton brought our food out & spoke) he always does a perfect job on preparing our sandwiches! 🥪 Overall service was great! Definitely a must for a quick lunch stop! Will definitely be back asap!“

“We stopped for lunch and drinks at Bearded Bee with our dog and little girl while in the area. Great selection of beers, I really liked the Irish Goodbye. I'll have to return and try some others. They have food trucks for lunch and the dumpling truck was great when we visited. Dogs are allowed inside and they have water bowls and treats for the pups. They even have games for kids so great for the whole family. Will definitely return“

“Wasn’t too busy on a Sunday morning and had a great selection of pastries and breads. They make their own syrups however the caramel was overpowering. The iced latte took a while to be made. The cinnamon bun was light and not overly sweet, and the blue corn cookie had a distinct cornbread like flavor. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and overall a solid spot I’d recommend.“

“I have always loved this place. But I just tried their Main Street Gobbler (carved turkey breast & sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, & topped with magical bacon jam). It was deli’s…incredible! The turkey and cheese came in chunks, not just thin slices. Very fresh.“

Every single one of the girls who works here is amazing, they’re consistently friendly, upbeat, and put you in a good mood. Plus, the drinks are packed with flavor, yet they feel super light and refreshing. It’s just an awesome experience every time!

My favorites are Pepino loco and Piña loca as well as the creamy caramel coffee, oh and you must try the Famous Jesse Protein Waffles 🧇 <—— these are truly the best protein waffles you will ever have.

The Dave's sauce is the perfect finishing touch. The crinkle fries is a hit with or without the cheese sauce. The mac and cheese is above and beyond. Don't skip out on the shakes so so good. “The truck was at the Downtown Garner pop-up today and we decided to try it. EXCELLENT - very fresh and flavorful, nice people, and it was served quickly. I’d happily recommend this food truck!“

“So glad I decided to dine at city bbq for dinner with my family tonight. The food was seasoned just right, the service was great and they cater to us non pork and beef eaters. And the bonus is it didnt break tue the bank. We got the city sampler double turkey and double pulled chicken, our two sides were macaroni and cheese and baked beans and iy came with texas toast for $27, we then added a side of fried okra which was lightly breaded and tried the smoked wings, in which everything totaled $44

And then we got a thick slice of triple chocolate cake, which was super moist and goes well with ice cold milk.

We will definitely dine in again soon.“

“The food and wine were excellent but the prices were a bit high. I loved the fact that they had wines from all over and they could pair them with the food however our waitress barely said anything and didn’t seem that knowledgeable. We waited a long time to be seated.“
