“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

“The service was amazing and it was very friendly and even the manager Leslie came out and checked on how we were doing. Leslie seems like a lovely worker and I would love for her to wait on me every time I came. The workers were very respectful and had smiles on their face and they enjoyed their jobs. As well as very clean.“

“A real winner! We stumbled upon this place after looking for somewhere new to eat since Prime BBQ had closed early. I didn't realize it was a food truck with an open patio and Latin music playing at the back of Prime BBQ. Their Latin cuisine is more Puerto Rican/Cuban style. Meaning the tacos are kind of standalone meals (1 is enough for some, 2 should fill up most people).

I had the Lechon taco which was perfectly juicy tender third of a pound of meat with tangy sauce on a tasty tortilla. I initially also split the queso with chorizo with my husband. He had a respectable Cuban sandwich with phenomenal tostones on the side. Everything was well seasoned and delectable.

After a few minutes to digest we went back for our second round of food. I ordered myself another lechon taco to go (to enjoy the next day, and can confirm it reheats wonderfully), in some of the most delicious crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside churros with chocolate drizzle and sweet perfectly balanced dipping sauce. I normally don't like tostones and prefer sweet plantains exclusively, but a taste of my husband's salty, crispy tostones paired with a perfect dipping sauce made me get my own order for the first time of my life!

I'm very picky about my Latin food as a native New Yorker whose best friend is Mexican, but Primo Latin Cuisine is a definite winner!

“I’ve been eating barbecue all my life and feel like an expert. Not smoking it but eating it.

The pulled pork at City Barbecue is great. The smoked turkey moist and flavorful.

The chicken is one I’m trying to wrap my head around. The time I had it, its sauce was almost creamy. Good but unexpected.

Have not tried ribs or brisket yet. Looking forward to trying them.

So far I’ve tried sides of Mac and cheese which was ok. Okra which the first time I had it was really good but the second was greasy. I guess they were having an off day. Baked beans are flavorful but sweet. My spouse liked the potato salad.

Wish the meal came with hush puppies. Default is Texas toast. Don’t want to waste a side on puppies.

Vegetarian options: They can accommodate, but this is a rib house for sure😋🫣! The peach cobbler is a winner 🏆!
