“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!”

“The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. This is an environment that will put a smile on your face, Ben and staff are simply exceptional, every visit feels like coming home to dinner. I look forward to spending some time out on the beautiful back patio this spring. Cheers!”

“I love Salt Grass but today we had a bad experience there with our reservation I called and they didn’t put my name on the waitlist talk to a manager she added my name but we still ended up waiting about 2hrs 45 minutes for our table the mangers was really nasty Heather act like she didn’t want to sit us and seem like she was over looking the black and when finally got a table we had a really nice waiter name Becky but our food at one of the tables had to be sent back because it was cold then your other manager had us waiting for about another 35 to 40 minutes to check out because it was a very bad day there”

“I recently visited Oak City Brewing Company and had a great experience overall. The atmosphere is super laid-back and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing after a long day. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and I love how spacious it feels.

Their drink selection is solid with a nice variety, and the cider was definitely my favorite—super refreshing and flavorful. Everything I tried tasted fresh and well-made.

What really stood out to me was the vibe—friendly staff, good music, and just an easygoing energy that makes you want to stay longer. It’s definitely a great local spot to unwind.

“I usually don't write reviews. However, this place is a shocker to me. The food is always Great! But....What ever you do...do not order your food online!! If you order your food online and have a family emergency, you are not allowed to cancel the order or get a refund! I was told, "come pick up your food before you go to the hospital with your child. We don't like to waste food." Instead of them being empathetic, issuing a refund and giving the food that was prepared to staff member or server. DO NOT ORDER YOUR FOOD IN ADVANCE. Just be prepared!”

“I stopped in for lunch after a long day working with school children, and it was just what I needed. I’ve visited this location several times, especially since there isn’t one in Raleigh right now. The staff are generally friendly, and that always makes a difference.

I tend to order the same thing each time—the veggie nachos—and I usually request double portions of veggies. Depending on who’s assisting me, that request can sometimes be met with hesitation, but other times it’s handled cheerfully and without issue.

On this particular visit, I chose to enjoy my meal outside, and it couldn’t have been a better decision. The weather was beautifully sunny, and the atmosphere made the entire experience feel calm and refreshing after such a long day.

“I was excited to try some goodies. I ordered the classic banana pudding (delicious) and traditional pound cake (havent tried yet, but it looks good in the packaging. I know for sure I will return for more pudding. Only reason didnt get 5 stars is becasue wish cup/serving was a bit bigger for the price. But maybe thats a good thing..lol”

“We love this location because of the variety of options and friendly staff. Since this is an independent location, they have popcorn shrimp which is a great option. Each time we have eaten there, our food arrived fast and hot.”

“Read all the great reviews and they are true. Stopped by last night and had maybe the best tacos I've had since moving to NC in '05....the handmade tortillas were outstanding as well as the barbacoa and pollo, and the carnitas were absolutely perfect, slightly crispy the way I like 'em, not semi-soggy like some places serve it, which is OK but not my preference.They even gave me both salsa roja AND salsa verde (I like to mix 'em) without me even having to ask.Both Maritsa & Jadina? (my apologies if I got it wrong!) were super nice. I just can't believe how lucky I am to find authentic mexican food less than 6 miles from my house....it's like striking gold.Like the patriarch at my favorite family-owned mexican restaurant across the street from my apt. in Chicago told me back in like '92 when he looked at me from over his Chicago Tribune: "You leeve in the nayborhood?" "Right across the street" "You'll be a regoolar coostomer", and went back to his paper.He was right. And I will.”

“My husband and I & My son ate there last night. It was my son's first time eating there & he just absolutely Loved it and wanted to give them a 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating! 😊 The service was great and our food was delicious and ready within 5-6 minutes after ordering. And that was dining in not going through drive thru. This was mine and my husband's 2nd time eating there & it was really good the first time as well. My son really liked the food that he told the lady who took our order all about it and everything. And told her that he became their #1 fan & how everyone should come eat there. He was so thankful for us taking him and wanted to keep telling the lady how pleased he was, that she ended up making him a chocolate milkshake at no charge. He was so excited ☺️☺️ and then me and my husband ended up ordering us milkshakes as well !!”

“What could have been a terrible experience was turned around by Gina (I hope that is correct). My order was wrong and I couldn’t come back because the restaurant was closed. When I did go back after discussing the matter with management, Gina was welcoming and understanding. Thanks for the great customer service with a smile!”

“Stopped here after playing at the park yesterday on our way home. They have 2 tables outside with plenty of seats. The inside was clean, they wore gloves. The staff was friendly. The portions for ice cream were huge 😋 At least 20+ flavors coffee, churro, cookie monster...10+ toppings Marshmallows, MnM's, fruity pebbles cereal..different kinds of sauce from strawberry drizzle to biscoff, & chocolate. They have fresh fruit, crepes, walking tacos, several different chip options, gotta go back! We thought this place was great.! Music was slightly loud, it didn't bother me, just an insight. The price $ point was great. Check them out.”

“Walked up to this food truck and was immediately greeted by amazing smells! The gentleman working the counter wasn't overly talkative but that's fine, the man was focused.I ordered a Caribbean shrimp quesadilla, a jerk chicken eggroll, and a strawberry lemonade.The quesadilla was good. The shrimp was cooked nice but there wasn't a lot of volume to this quesadilla. Just cheese and shrimp, not a whole lot of flavor for me. All quesadillas are served with chips and queso, big bonus for me! Then the eggroll, these things are MASSIVE! An eggroll stuffed with Cabbage and jerk chicken, wooo these things packed some heat but they were delicious. I split the eggroll with a friend of mine who couldn't stop raving about the jerk chicken quesadilla and the eggroll.I gotta say, if you're looking for some delicious jerk chicken or Caribbean food, give this food truck a try!”

The store is always very clean, well stocked and you can tell the Staff & Management take pride in their store. I most definitely recommend this Starbucks!”
