“Solid BBQ, one star off because I feel they're skimpy on the meat portions. I ordered the 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs. Received 1-1/2 slices of brisket and 2 ribs. The baked beans were terrific and the mac & cheese was very good. Great staff also.”

“** Long Post Warning** OOHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOOOODDDDDDD! Outside of Texas I have never had such delicious barbecue. The brisket will have you crying like a baby and the I house made pimento cheese sausage is crazy! The bbq rice is perfect and the pork bbq is ridiculous and flavor packed to the last bite. The whole staff is pretty much Military Veterans and you can see and hear them working together to make sure service is quick and seamless. The best barbecue place in NC hands down. Each year he honors active duty and military veterans with free food for the whole family. Most places that do military meals only give it to the military person and it's usually a lunch size portion of 3-4 options on a limited menu. Not at Prime. You get the same options and portions for free as you would if you paid. I have a family of 6 so imagine what kind of bill we usually have. To have that paid for and get the quality of food we get is mind blowing. Prime has a special table that can be reserved by veterans or active duty that seats 8-10 people and it's awesome. The owner Christopher Prieto is the most genuine and humble man on earth. My wife sat down to eat one day and he seen my Navy Veteran shirt. He asked me if he could sit down and thanked me for my service and just started talking to me and my wife like we knew each other all our lives. I knew I seen his face before and then I realized he was on Food Networks Chopped in the barbecue championship representing NC. My family is a family of faith and so is he. He talked to us about how God gave him his vision and his purpose for the restaurant and how he uses proceeds to help veterans and families in need have meals and basic necessities as his way of showing the love of the Lord. I cannot say enough about this place. My wife and I go every chance we get.”

“This place is AMAZING - and we are SO lucky to have it right here!! I live in Knightdale, NC, and I work at another fine dining restaurant in Raleigh proper. Nothing against where I work, but The Depot prides itself on sourcing locally as much as possible (beef from Brasstown in Franklin, poultry & duck from Joyce Farms in Chapel Hill, fresh produce from Blue Sky Farms in Wendell) and presenting a fresh, chef-driven menu. These people CARE DEEPLY about what they're presenting you... Kevin in the kitchen as executive chef, Zach behind the bar with his knowledge of both classic and innovative cocktails, Chris as the FOH manager making sure you have a great experience... I'm always happy when I'm a late-in - or get cut early enough - at my restaurant so that I can stop by The Depot & have something sooo delicious close to home & chat with my industry peeps here. This place is awesome... ????”

“Very nice place to grab a pint with friends. They turned an old house into a tavern, which gives it a homey feeling. The beer selection is from their brewery as well as some guest taps. As for their beer, they do a nice job with several different styles to choose from. While they did offer a 4 flight, it was limited to a promotion they were having. Would have been nice to be able to flight some of their other taps. However, they do let you have samples of their taps, so that helps. They are pet friendly, inside and out, so that is nice. First time there, but it won't be my last.”

“Ordered the enchilada and empanada plates and super happy with our order! So glad we checked this place out! Great sanitation rating and clean restaurant too. Staff and chef very friendly and answered all of our questions. Def will come back when we are out this way again!”

“Ordered a couple pies, chicken wings, and knots for the family. The wings were nice and spicy but still had flavor which was on point. I'd eat here over a Dominos or Papa John's or any of those other chains any day. Never been disappointed with the food or the customer service. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!!Update: great customer service this evening! Picked up pizza and wings, got home to find my wings EXTREMELY small. I do not usually call and complain, but felt as though they were just way too small. Asked if I could bring them back and have them remade. The lady told me to keep them, and she would make me a fresh batch and that the wings that they had received were smaller than usual. She stated they were supposed to give me a few extra. I went back, and they had made me a whole new order with much larger wings. Thank you for the great customer service! And I will be back again...of course!-Will”

“The food is delicious, the service and prices are excellent, the only detail that I didn't like is that they don't ventilate and the smell is very strong like when there is burnt oil. I hope they can solve it because it would be the number restaurant ❤️❤️”

“I stop here from time to time to get gas and maybe a few snacks on my way home. Gas prices are average. There's lots of parking available. The store staff are kind of friendly...nothing to write home about. I'm able to get what I need & hit the road, so that's all I care about. I recommend this location if you need gas or to make a quick stop for snacks or lottery tickets.”

“One word: WOW. My hubby and I are from NY, have been here for about 5 years and have found very very few pizzas or wings that meet our NY standards (we're originally from Buffalo so of COURSE we've got expectations!). This place is a nice small sit-down restaurant with a full Italian menu. Pictured is the stuffed crust pizza (superb! Def not what we expected but better) and I also had a grilled chicken salad that was HUGE & well worth the $10. With the way prices have been versus the quality/quantity of product lately, I was pleasantly surprised. The marinara sauce was honestly the best I've had in a while. We'll for sure be back, there's a lot more from the menu I want to try.”

“As always, we had a wonderful dinner! We celebrated my son's birthday (probably for the eighth or ninth time in the past 13 years and we reminisced with some of the long-time staff over photos of my son wearing the birthday sombrero since he was two years old) and the waitstaff sang and celebrated with us. The food was delicious and delivered quickly. After nearly 20 years, we've never had bad service or food!”
