“The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. This is an environment that will put a smile on your face, Ben and staff are simply exceptional, every visit feels like coming home to dinner. “I usually don't write reviews. However, this place is a shocker to me. The food is always Great! But....What ever you do...do not order your food online!! If you order your food online and have a family emergency, you are not allowed to cancel the order or get a refund! I was told, "come pick up your food before you go to the hospital with your child. We don't like to waste food." Instead of them being empathetic, issuing a refund and giving the food that was prepared to staff member or server. DO NOT ORDER YOUR FOOD IN ADVANCE. Just be prepared!“

“I love Salt Grass but today we had a bad experience there with our reservation I called and they didn’t put my name on the waitlist talk to a manager she added my name but we still ended up waiting about 2hrs 45 minutes for our table the mangers was really nasty Heather act like she didn’t want to sit us and seem like she was over looking the black and when finally got a table we had a really nice waiter name Becky but our food at one of the tables had to be sent back because it was cold then your other manager had us waiting for about another 35 to 40 minutes to check out because it was a very bad day there“

I placed on online order out of state for an important business lunch and ran into a couple of computer issues on my end (not Which Wich). They were amazingly supportive and helpful throughout the whole day in making sure we got everything we needed. Special kudos to Dimitri and Amanda who were so nice and friendly and helpful and patient! And the biggest shout out to the owner who did everything he could to ensure lunch would be delivered on time and for the constant follow-ups! My boss said everything was perfect and delicious!! If I ever make to it NC, I definitely am going to stop in!!“

“This was our first time checking this place out! Loved that there were options for everyone and the seafood boil was delicious! Our waitress was very attentive and kept checking in on us and had refills out to us before our glasses were empty. I believe it was manager or another waiter helping out since they had a large group and he also checked in on us as well. Good service on a Tuesday night usually is hard to come by but the crew that was there tonight did a phenomenal job!“

“I’ve been here/ ordered from here a few times from Grubhub, both times I’ve ordered Grubhub , Grubhub has made a mistake. The restaurant both times, went out of their way to fix it, the lady who was working in the phone last night, February 14th, sealed me as a customer for life for friendly service, as someone who works in the industry as a manager, she gets my 5 star approval, she’s the type of employee I’d like to hire, and the type of customer service that rarely comes along.“

“I had a great experience at Fat Boys Shack in Wake Forest, NC. The food was delicious, and the customer service was a 10/10 from the moment I walked in. My tenders were fried hard just the way I like them without even having to ask, which was a pleasant surprise. The lemonade was also very good and refreshing. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. Shoutout to the manager on duty, Paige Terry, and employee Tiara Spence for providing excellent service and making the visit even better. “I recently moved to the neighborhood and decided to give them a try. Everything was delicious! I ordered Shrimp Lo Mein w/onions only and a shrimp egg roll. EVERYTHING was made fresh! The egg roll was nice & crispy and not saturated with oil, the shrimp in the lomein was PLENTIFUL and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Most importantly, the delivery time was only 15mins! I Will definitely be ordering again REAL SOON!“
