It took a long time for our salads to come out so we were still eating them when our entrees came. I couldn't finish my wedge salad because of the timing. My drink was fine, nothing special. Most plates are between $15-25. The portions are good size. And waiting time is short. The food itself is delicious and well seasoned. I recommend the Lomo saltado for $15.99 And the Cucumber juice with Chia for $3.99. very good. Overall from 1-10 , I give this experience an 9.“
“As always, we had a wonderful dinner! We celebrated my son's birthday (probably for the eighth or ninth time in the past 13 years and we reminisced with some of the long-time staff over photos of my son wearing the birthday sombrero since he was two years old) and the waitstaff sang and celebrated with us. “The food was incredible. The steak was as good as any I've eaten anywhere in the country. The Delmonico was cooked perfectly medium rare and seasoned perfectly as well. The atmosphere was great and the overall price is what you would expect for this quality of food. The gentleman who sat us was excellent. He was very friendly and when our server was stuck at another table was more than helpful in going over the menu and helping narrow down our selections. However, the female server that did end up helping us was simply not all that great. She barely smiled and was not warm at all. She didn't check on us enough and there were a couple times when we were absolutely waiting on her at the end of the meal, particularly to bring the check and then to pick it up for payment. It may sound picky but in a high end restaurant such as this the service needs to be exemplary. All in all it was a great experience and we would return, only with the hopes of working with a different server.“
“I’d tell anyone to stop reading reviews and just go. Calamari was great, seafood boil was outstanding. The granchio sauce is a mix of garlic butter, Cajun, and a bit of lemon pepper. It’s all the things and really tasty. The price is completely reasonable. Our server (Nikki I think?) obviously enjoys what she does. It’s rare these days to have a personable server that isn’t just going through the motions. I love supporting small family owned businesses, and this is a really good one. Casual environment, we were in jeans and sweatshirts and didn’t feel out of place.“
“This place is great, it's one of my favorites. The service I good. Their creamy risotto is super rich, and I have to have it every time. Seafood is offered in a variety of styles and price points, all well-cooked. It's quite popular, so reservations are good. I tend to see a lot of attractive late-middle-age couples as well as family groups there. They make several yummy signature cocktails, my favorite is the landed lemon-drop, but the wine list is a little ho-hum. Short and at the grocery store mid level, Kendall Jackson, that sort of thing. It could be expanded, I bet it would sell there. The creme brulee is everything;) Parking is a beast.“

We ordered a signature combo that had shrimp, snow crab legs, sausage, potatoes, eggs & corn. With Liz’s recommendation we spiced it with medium heat house blend spices & it was absolutely delicious! Yes, it cost a few more dollars for some of the meals, but it's not out of the reach for budget-friendly families making some choices. The meal portions are large, in fact, more than I could eat in a setting. So, a take out box requested. You'll find the staff to be very knowledgeable and suggesting for the meals you may questions about. That's very helpful in selecting your favorite dish. ?! There's plenty of setting and privacy for those cozy moments ?. So go by, if you got that extra driver, there's a Bar too for those selective drinks. Just Don't Drink and Drive! “We went with family for Easter, and it was pretty good. I personally don't eat seafood, but everyone else thought it was really good and the portions were huge. I got the enchiladas, and they were really good. It came with a side of rice and lettuce, pico de gallo mix. My husband got the flautas and they're were really good as well. They didn't come with any other sides, tho. We also got a margarita flight, which was amazing. It came with 4 different types and fruit slices, too.“

I'm talking about like five or six people just sitting outside the truck waiting on them to set up, and it was like 9am- 10am. I knew the food was going to be good then, lol. “We were sat quickly outside per our request during a busy time. Many accommodations were made for our group’s total of 3 toddlers and 2 infants. The kids’ food was brought out in about 10 minutes, maybe even faster, which is always a huge plus. Our server Ravn was calm, witty and attentive. He struck the perfect balance of being personable and available, but not overbearing. He handled the chaos of our children with grace and understanding. Nothing against where I work, but The Depot prides itself on sourcing locally as much as possible (beef from Brasstown in Franklin, poultry & duck from Joyce Farms in Chapel Hill, fresh produce from Blue Sky Farms in Wendell) and presenting a fresh, chef-driven menu. These people CARE DEEPLY about what they're presenting you... Kevin in the kitchen as executive chef, Zach behind the bar with his knowledge of both classic and innovative cocktails, Chris as the FOH manager making sure you have a great experience...
