Here in North Carolina for the weekend for dreamville festival. My wife and I asked a local at the airport wheres the food at. And he recommend Jack's Seafood. ? absolutely amazing I had the smothered pork chops with mac and cheese and fries. My wife had 4 piece wing with greens and mac and cheese. We were both fully satisfied. While here we were talking with another customer who said that Jack's is a local staple and I can see why.
Jack’s has pretty good soul food; they’re in my top five best soul/seafood spots for this area. They need to update their online price menu though; so I’m sharing a photo of their current menu prices (as of January 2024).

Called in an order and when we picked it up, we could smell the food. The proprietor was there and enjoyed having a conversation with him. The hostess was so pleasant and she smiled the whole time which was so nice to see so late. Finally getting home and oh my goodness is all I can say. Whew I had to push myself from the table. Everything was hot and had so much flavor! FYI, those smothered chops were some kind of good!! Try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.
