Here in North Carolina for the weekend for dreamville festival. My wife and I asked a local at the airport wheres the food at. And he recommend Jack's Seafood. ? absolutely amazing I had the smothered pork chops with mac and cheese and fries. My wife had 4 piece wing with greens and mac and cheese. We were both fully satisfied. While here we were talking with another customer who said that Jack's is a local staple and I can see why.
1st time going here the food is so good, the fish was delicious, fried soft and tasteful. The mac and cheese was delicious. Will be back to try other dishes .

I would not recommend the ribs. There were maybe 3 bites of meat. I was still hungry when I finished.
I drove from Durham NC, just to get dinner for my wife and I. It was well worth the drive. We will be back this Thursday for the Neckbones. We found our new spot.

I grabbed a 8 piece trout plate, with two sides and hushpuppys. The fish was fantastic, but it had quite a few bones in it. It was great other then the bones.

Jack’s has pretty good soul food; they’re in my top five best soul/seafood spots for this area. They need to update their online price menu though; so I’m sharing a photo of their current menu prices (as of January 2024).

Decent location, but the food was horrible. Went at 745 or so, and the food was fresh, but the grease used had to be old and used for the chicken,hush puppies, and shrimp.
