Fish is really good. Shrimp... Uhhh, not so much.I am a Raleigh native and I've been eating at Jack's since forever.Things change. I'm just glad to see it still standing.
When I say the gravy will have you smacking your lips, I mean it! I was craving something smothered and Jack's understood the assignment! I got two smothered porkchop plated and my mom and I enjoyed every bit of it! My husband don't even eat pork and he tasted it. Now my daughter's fried chicken plate failed. The grease needed to be changed and she said mommy it's yucky! So, maybe re donthe fried chicken leg plate but other than that top notch!

Fried okra was good! Pork chops were not cooked enough, both were not center cut, as requested. I order side of shrimp, was given small container of popcorn shrimp. I don't like popcorn shrimp. I wish that I was given an option. The sweet potato pie was not to my liking, took one bite and threw it away, tasted like a Patty pie instead of home made pie. I hadn't been there in years, now I remember why ...Parking: Spaces are limited and small. It was hard to maneuver my large SUV.
