The fish was not good this time. I visit every year! This was the first time that I was not wowed!
I would like to express my disappointment with my recent experience at your restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as I expected, and the service I received from the waiter RAUL was also very unsatisfactory.
I had to wait for my drink, and Raul did not realize that I had not received it until he brought my food. I believe this shows a lack of attention to customers and is not the level of professional service I expect from a restaurant.

Mayflower Seafood Restaurant Raleigh is a long-standing, no frills fish house that has been around for decades. The food is okay seafood, described as good and not the best but not the worst, offering a great amount of food for a good price. Servings are good value, typically enough for two meals. Prices are great for the options available, though some find the food very pricey. Staff is friendly, with excellent service noted, including staff who go out of their way to fix mistakes. Some issues are noted, such as a low health department rating, food that is not good, cold baked potatoes, and chewy shrimp. Fries are said to taste like they were cooked in the same oil as the seafood. The restaurant offers a special on Wednesday and Sundays where presenting a church bulletin gives 20% off each entree. It remains a place some may try again while others would not be excited to visit.
