“So delicious! Ordered the jerk chicken egg roll, surf and turf egg roll, and the combination bowl (jerk chicken and shrimp). Soooo good! I ate the whole bowl in one sitting, didn't intend to do that, but I couldn't stop. I like spicy food and have a fairly high heat tolerance and the jerk chicken had a nice little kick. Definitely plan to order again and again! The wait for the food was a bit too long, but that's their room for improvement. Besides that, food and customer service was A-1! “Years ago a friend from the Barbados made me curry chicken as a meal after I had surgery. I haven't been able to replicate that meal or find a place that matched it. Until now...Levy's Jerkstand at North State Food Hall in Selma! I got the cabbage and rice & beans as my two sides. Best cabbage ever! This meal made my heart happy. I will definitely be back!“
“Recently moving back from California, I never thought I would have the same taste that I experienced in the street taco stands. This truck is around the corner from us and I cannot be more thrilled to know we now have a taco spot. The price, taste, quality is top tier and the staff were friendly. “Came out to a local brewery today, but what drew me here was the food truck. I get to enjoy the beautiful weather outside sitting on picnic benches. The food is always fresh and delicious. We had the pork quesadilla and the BBQ nachos with brisket. The nachos were great. Really flavorful with plenty of meat and cheese. The quesadilla was huge and well worth the money. The service is always great. They are friendly and help you with making choices if you are unsure of what to get. My recommendation: get the brisket on anything. And get the churros and cheesecake flautas.“
“Best Mexican food in Raleigh, NC is a little taco stand. I ordered 3 tacos el pastor. They gave me grilled onions, grilled jalapeño, and plenty of extras on the toppings bar. There is so much here for the tastes buds to enjoy, and they made sure that I got full. This was the best tacos I have ever tasted! Would highly recommend as authentic Mexican experience. And I will be back.“
“The food at JJ's has been consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. So far, I've tried Philly cheese steak, fries, and chicken cheese steak. It's a very short menu.The (owner?) is friendly and cooks pretty fast. And the sanitation rating is 99.5 ! Most actual restaurants don't get that.This Food truck is parked outside Uncle Bill's Mini Mart. I do NOT recommend the mini Mart. Just wait in your car until your food is ready.Minus 1 star for styrofoam food containers, the poor condition of the parking lot, and shady characters milling about.“

The guy promised me I would be back and I definitely will be. The food was tasty and the portion size was worth the money. I had Jolif rice w/ bang bang shrimp, collards, Mac n cheese. “I am from Honduras and when we were passing by with my boyfriend we automatically returned when we saw the truck. We ordered the carne asada and it felt like home. The only thing I would change would be the regular beans for fried beans, but the rest was amazing!!“
“Ray (& Hibachi Xpress) were perfect for our holiday party. We had plenty of food! Most people were able to get seconds, and did so quite quickly! Ray was prompt, easy to work with, and checked in along the way to make sure everything was going to plan! I would highly recommend Hibachi Xpress!“
“This food truck blew me away. The lady running it, who I think was also the owner, was so warm, kind and friendly. The food was OUTSTANDING. Best Bierra tacos I've ever had. The broth was delicious. I could have drank it. She gave a generous amount too. I also had a burrito with Chorizo. She made sure she made it in a way I would like it, offering to add avocados to it which I love. When my girlfriend said I liked my food spicy the worker/owner brightened up and immediately offered to include a red sauce which was legitimately spicy as promised. I loved it. The burrito was delicious. I also had a cantaloupe Agua Fresca that was fresh, refreshing and delicious! It was also in a HUGE cup so I got my money's worth. Highly recommended! “The wait here was kind of long. I had about 5 people ahead of me. The regular tacos were okay. It wasn't something that I hated or loved. Now, the taco birria was straight up fire.Since I started writing this review ( a month and a half ago), I have been here 4 times. The 3rd time the tacos were kind of slightly off.Taco shells didn't taste too fresh?!But didn't stop me from coming back again ! The last time was back to the normal yummy goodness.“

Nothing against where I work, but The Depot prides itself on sourcing locally as much as possible (beef from Brasstown in Franklin, poultry & duck from Joyce Farms in Chapel Hill, fresh produce from Blue Sky Farms in Wendell) and presenting a fresh, chef-driven menu. These people CARE DEEPLY about what they're presenting you... Kevin in the kitchen as executive chef, Zach behind the bar with his knowledge of both classic and innovative cocktails, Chris as the FOH manager making sure you have a great experience... I'm always happy when I'm a late-in - or get cut early enough - at my restaurant so that I can stop by The Depot & have something sooo delicious close to home & chat with my industry peeps here.
