“Finally made it down to The Depot on First and I wasn't disappointed. When I walked in I was greeted by Ben the GM who got me saddled up at the bar. They have a beautiful bar with an extensive Bourbon selection and an intriguing cocktail menu but I was here for the food. I started with the Salmon Hash. The protein was prepared to perfection and the flavors were great. Some sautéed onions, red peppers and a drizzle of chipotle mayo enhanced the dish. Next I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. The dish came with some warm whipped butter, maple syrup, with what must have be a 10-12 oz juicy chicken breast over a large Belgian waffle. The chicken was delicious, tender, and seasoned perfectly savory to pair with the sweet syrup and fluffy waffle. I also had coffee and my cup was kept full by the attentive staff. The music in the background provided a nice vibe while also allowing for great conversation. Looking forward to coming back for dinner and drinks. Thanks TDO1st!“

“The food at JJ's has been consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. So far, I've tried Philly cheese steak, fries, and chicken cheese steak. It's a very short menu.The (owner?) is friendly and cooks pretty fast. And the sanitation rating is 99.5 ! Most actual restaurants don't get that.This Food truck is parked outside Uncle Bill's Mini Mart. I do NOT recommend the mini Mart. Just wait in your car until your food is ready.Minus 1 star for styrofoam food containers, the poor condition of the parking lot, and shady characters milling about.“

“I love this food truck! I usually visit this truck when it is behind Railroad Park. This food truck is very authentic and they even made me a vegetarian meal so they are very accomodating. I got two veggie tacos and they were so good. They also serve two different sauces in squeeze bottles in case you want more. They are only behind Railroad Park on the weekdays and they close pretty early so sometimes I can't make it there after class because they'll be closed by then. Overall they did a very good job, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted very good.“
“This food truck blew me away. The lady running it, who I think was also the owner, was so warm, kind and friendly. The food was OUTSTANDING. Best Bierra tacos I've ever had. The broth was delicious. I could have drank it. She gave a generous amount too. I also had a burrito with Chorizo. She made sure she made it in a way I would like it, offering to add avocados to it which I love. When my girlfriend said I liked my food spicy the worker/owner brightened up and immediately offered to include a red sauce which was legitimately spicy as promised. I loved it. The burrito was delicious. I also had a cantaloupe Agua Fresca that was fresh, refreshing and delicious! It was also in a HUGE cup so I got my money's worth. Highly recommended! “Freaking fantastic. They've been open for 4 years and do not have enough reviews. Ordered birria, al pastor, and steak and chorizo tacos. Didn't even order the consommé for the birria. Also ordered the elote and horchata. Every single thing was delicious. Meat in the tacos was all very well seasoned (and salted). Elote was delicious. Horchata tasted homemade (my husband even sucked up a piece of rice). Would return so so soon to try more items!“

“My partner and I were spending a wonderful Friday morning enjoying the nature over at Main Street Park in Rolesville. As lunch time began to approach, our stomachs began to croak. We hopped online to see what kinds of food were within the area, and we found What'z Cookin. After studying the menu, we decided to give it a shot. When we got there, the woman working the front counter greeted us with a huge smile and seemed very pleased to be taking our order. The process was quick, easy, and very professionally done. After a quick five minute wait, our food was ready, and boy oh boy did that bag of food smell good. I got an extra side of bbq sauce and we hit the road. I got a bbq sandwich and my partner got the fried chicken sandwich with fried okra on the side. My mouth was watering at the sight, and we scarfed it's down with the force of 1000 suns. This meal was the absolute perfect addition to our afternoon in Rolesville. Thanks so much to the wonderful team over at What'z Cookin for the great food and extremely pleasant experience.
