“Decent drinks and they typically have specials. Many of their specialty cocktails are pre-made and on tap, which I find interesting (such as the espresso martini). Drinks will run you about $11-$12/liquor drink. Beer is $7/8 a glass. But this is the main "bar" in Wendell for liquor and beer. Farmers and Merchants next door is a smaller choice with food. I like the atmosphere, and there is an outdoor patio with tons of tables/umbrellas and stools.”
“I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon at the Bearded Bee with family. We had a wonderful time!! Great beer, atmosphere, games, and food truck. I'll be stopping in every time I visit my family.”
“I've had taco truck tacos from all over the US (NY, CA, TX, FL, etc...) and Central America. These tacos are legit, authentic, and delicious. Very nice owners as well. I will go see them again if I'm ever in the area. Great job ??”
“We had the supreme pizza and the Italian White last night for dinner. It was amazing!!!! The veggies on the supreme pizza were so fresh!! The crust is impeccable. Just enough garlic on the white pizza and the taste....Yummo!!! Will definitely be adding this pizza as a new fav! Prices are comparable to other pizza places. I definitely recommend!”
“Came to this place at hugger mugger, really good food, 10/10 service, my parents got the roasted and fried mofongos I got chicken kabobs, would eat here again given the chance.”
“I just discovered The Farmhouse a few months ago. What a delightful surprise. The food is fresh and delicious. I am particularly fond of the Salmon Smorrebrod. The service is quick, the staff is always friendly. And the prices are reasonable. I’ve only been at lunch, but with the two stories of windows and sunshine The atmosphere is very inviting”
“I loved this place! No food, but there's a pizza place a couple of doors down. I had a beer from the cooler, they had lots on tap as well. It's a large space with games to play, there are tables, tvs, and a bar.9”
“This place has the best bbq chicken pizza. We order from here almost once a week. It is the best restaurant in downtown Wendell no question. It’s not fancy but the food is amazing. Everything we’ve ever ordered was delicious. BBQ chicken pizza is our go to item. I also love their Greek salads - super fresh and great homemade vinaigrette. Wings and calzones are also very good.”
“It was exactly what we expected. Very nice customer service, quaint side of the road snow cone atmosphere, and great tasting snow cones.Parking: Some spaces in front of and to the side of the building.”
“Best Asian food in this area of Raleigh. Great service in the fact that Grubhub wouldn’t tell me the status of my food (their driver was just going all over the place other than the restaurant or here) and they ended up making a new hot meal that I picked up myself. Support small businesses like this, big business like Grubhub will lie through call centers. Get the garlic naan, tiki masala, or drunken noodles if unsure.”
“this is so good like i just moved away and i’m so mad i only ordered from there twice but the food is really good and i live like 15-20 mins away from there and my food still comes hot and ”
“Food is fresh and delicious with prompt friendly service. Was clean when visiting on a Friday night which everyone knows is prime time so easy to get behind. Will visit again.”
“It's McDonalds. What else can you say? I usually get curbside service which I love. Servers are very friendly and I never have to wait more that 3-5 minutes to get my order.”
“I have heard about this shop in town and I thought that I would stop there to get a strawberry banana smoothie with some protein powder in it when I got there I was overwhelmed by the options and the lady suggested the strawberry banana protein drink. I thought I would get fresh fruit with some protein powder, but it was an all powder drink blasted up with ice. It did taste good had a gritty texture. but for the price I would prefer some fresh fruit.”
“I've lived in Wendell for almost 5 years now and somehow never visited A&P's until a few months ago......man, I feel like I wasted a good portion of my life, the one where you find a LOCAL, privately owned and run (as in not corporate) joint where local people gather (because THEY know what's good), everyone is genuinely friendly, prices are more than reasonable, the food is awesome and portions are more than generous (today I almost couldn't finish my double cheeseburger - believe me, not because I didn't want to) and you are treated like a welcome guest. My first time (I think) Peedie, whose father was Aubrey, asked my name once and he has remembered it ever since. I used to sell for a living and I would still sometimes forgot customer's names. Not Peedie. That day I told him I loved his place and to never change it. They just don't make 'em like this anymore and WE ARE SO LUCKY to have this one right here in Wendell.”
