“Rustic Root is a gem of a place! The food is excellent, freshly prepared southern style cooking. The staff are all extremely friendly and attentive. And the atmosphere is relaxed. Try the Cowgirl Candy Mac and the fried chicken with white pepper gravy (it's a special so hopefully you're lucky enough to get it).
DEFINITELY make a reservation as they are busy. Worth a visit!”

Well I want to thank the new high melanin mgr because Sunshine is head above what they ever were so thanks for running us off we found a REAL GOOD place to have breakfast! The biscuits are large and very good so eat here forget the others in the area this is the place.”

However you will leave feeling like you just ate at grandmas , be prepare to take a nap after a meal from Johnnys . The bbq is very good , nothing like NC bbq done the right way . The hush puppies are always hot and delicious. The sweet tea is dark and sweet like southern iced tea was intended to be . This place is the real deal!”
