This is a little eatery with an attached lounge. Its a quaint, old building with some of the older architectural bits visible which gives the place a great look. Service was good. Food was stellar. I had the Cuban sandwich with Brussels sprouts. Wife had a bleu cheeseburger and mac-n-cheese. Portion sizes were not over the top. We both enjoyed our meals and left very satisfied without being overstuffed. Prices are also quite reasonable. We'll totally be back.
My husband & I love this place! So much so we wished it was closer to where we lived in Raleigh, but the hour trip is WORTH IT! The owner, Michael, is a talented cook. His food is MOUTH WATER & FINGER FRICKIN' LICKIN' GOOD! I highly recommend his Mozzarella appetizer & you can't go wrong with ANY of his deserts, especially his cheesecake. I travel a lot for work and places like this are the reason why I specifically stop in really small towns now.The food was amazing, the atmosphere was definitely unique, and the staff was extremely friendly. Next time I am going anywhere near this part of NC, I'll make a detour to eat here again. Highly recommended.
