“One of the best McDonald's I've been to. Maybe it was a time of day, we went around 9am. Just a few customers. However the workers were all very friendly and will all busy cleaning between orders. I had customized my order, and received it exactly as I asked for. Well done.“
“~ 10am 1/20: Lauren was great this morning. My kid insisted on getting a happy meal toy so I went to buy just the toy. Lauren was happy to help. There was a misunderstanding about which toy was available, but Lauren was great with helping me through that while still attending to the front register. As a customer service manager I was impressed with her attention to the customers in line while still helping one in need on the side.I will definitely be bringing my family back for breakfast again soon.We just hope y'all will have the squishmallows back in stock ?“
“I have only been through the drive thru and it has always been early in the morning. However, the service has been on point every time and the ham biscuit far surpasses Bojangles country ham biscuit, which used to be my favorite. Boyfriend’s steak biscuit has always been good. Everything has been 4 stars so far.“
“Went into this subway after being traffic for over 1.5hr didn't have time to cook, ran into this subway for something quick,,Marc was very courteous, friendly, even made me laugh after a long day, customer service is so rare these days that when you receive it is very appreciated. Food and bread was was fresh. Will definitely return. Thank you“
“Stopped off highway on the way home from RDU on a Sunday night at 8. Reading the reviews in drive thru, I thought I made a mistake but gave it a try anyway. The guy taking drive thru orders was exceptionally polite, and wait time was minimal w 2 cars ahead of me. Lady at the window was excellent. Food came out within seconds and the Dave’s triple with only ketchup may have been the best one I’ve ever had from Wendy’s all time. Piping hot, fresh, great amount of ketchup. Impressive, keep up the great work.“
“Absolutely loved this chicken and BBQ place. While there are many locations in central and eastern NC, this is a North Carolina original. Though it is technically a fast food restaurant, care is taken that customers receive quality customer service. Food is very fresh and flavorful. Expect authentic “down east” vinegar-based BBQ sauce with a distinctive kick. I had the dark meat “snack,” which comes with leg, thigh & one side. I went with the baked beans, and was very satisfied. These are NOT vegetarian beans, as they are laced with pork BBQ, and quite to my taste. The chicken was very tender & juicy as well. Plenty of free parking. We chose to eat outside on a picnic table, to accommodate our dog. Staff insisted on carrying our food outside, across the parking lot to the picnic table. My only suggestion for improvement would be an umbrella over the picnic tables. Two Tesla charging stations on site.“
“While our order from Hwy 55 on January 20, 2023, didn't quite make it to the promised, the journey offered some unexpected twists and turns, both frustrating and delightful. Our initial order ended up being incorrect, which was a bit of a disappointment. However, the restaurant quickly rectified the situation by sending out a whole new batch of food. This extra food, while not what we originally craved (those shakes still haunt our dreams!), turned out to be a culinary revelation. The flavors were incredible, the ingredients fresh and vibrant, and every bite a testament to the restaurant's culinary prowess. It was almost enough to make us forget the missing shakes.Overall, our experience at hwy 55 was a mixed bag. The initial mix-up and missing items were a downer, but the restaurant's prompt and generous attempt to rectify the situation, coupled with the unexpected deliciousness of the bonus food, earned them back some major points. So, would we recommend hwy 55 Absolutely! Just be prepared for the possibility of a flavor adventure, whether it's what you ordered or not. And hey, maybe next time, those shakes will finally make it into our hands.“
“Visiting this place is honestly such a wonderful experience. I am too often impressed with their customer and friendly hospitality and I love that about this location. I think this Mexican food chain gets it completely right. Love coming here! “
“Most of the time, during peek hours, be prepared to wait if you are going through the drive thru, not every time, but sometimes I will just run in & there will be nobody in line so that can be faster. The food is usually always good. I have been a few times throughout the years and have had bad service while in the drive thru, but I don't let 1 or 2 people keep me from returning somewhere I enjoy. I'm not sure how management keeps up with how some employees act or carry themselves while working, I know customers can sometimes be hard to deal with here and there, but customers should never be mistreated when coming to spend money at any establishment. But again, that doesn't speak for everyone at Bojangles or the quality of the food. I went last week with my daughter for brunch and we enjoyed everything we ordered.“
“I've lived in Wendell for almost 5 years now and somehow never visited A&P's until a few months ago......man, I feel like I wasted a good portion of my life, the one where you find a LOCAL, privately owned and run (as in not corporate) joint where local people gather (because THEY know what's good), everyone is genuinely friendly, prices are more than reasonable, the food is awesome and portions are more than generous (today I almost couldn't finish my double cheeseburger - believe me, not because I didn't want to) and you are treated like a welcome guest. My first time (I think) Peedie, whose father was Aubrey, asked my name once and he has remembered it ever since. I used to sell for a living and I would still sometimes forgot customer's names. Not Peedie. That day I told him I loved his place and to never change it. They just don't make 'em like this anymore and WE ARE SO LUCKY to have this one right here in Wendell.“
