“Took my family here to celebrate my daughter-in-law's birthday. Everyone's food was delicious. Our waitress was fantastic and friendly. Kept our drinks filled and checked back several times to see if we needed anything.
Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu and the serving sizes are just right.“

“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

“By far the best hush puppies and pork ribs you’ll find in North Carolina. The sassy but wonderfully welcoming attitude there makes the meal even that much better. They really go out of their way to cook things so perfect, that you leave there satisfied and really feel as though you’ve had an experience Through the love they put into what they cook. Their sauces are great and they even have a thing where you can pay it forward and buy somebody who’s in need a meal. These guys do it all, I don’t care what anybody says about number one number two, in this place number don’t count it’s what they do that does, and your belly will find out why these guys are amazing. Try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.!“

“Enjoyed a nice lunch burger and fries for lunch for only $10. Fries were pretty amazing. Burger was good, could have been a bit bigger, but on the bright side, I can actually function at work for the rest of the day. Great location right in Five Points.“

“A real winner! We stumbled upon this place after looking for somewhere new to eat since Prime BBQ had closed early. I didn't realize it was a food truck with an open patio and Latin music playing at the back of Prime BBQ. Their Latin cuisine is more Puerto Rican/Cuban style. Meaning the tacos are kind of standalone meals (1 is enough for some, 2 should fill up most people).
I had the Lechon taco which was perfectly juicy tender third of a pound of meat with tangy sauce on a tasty tortilla. I initially also split the queso with chorizo with my husband. He had a respectable Cuban sandwich with phenomenal tostones on the side. Everything was well seasoned and delectable.
After a few minutes to digest we went back for our second round of food. I ordered myself another lechon taco to go (to enjoy the next day, and can confirm it reheats wonderfully), in some of the most delicious crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside churros with chocolate drizzle and sweet perfectly balanced dipping sauce. I normally don't like tostones and prefer sweet plantains exclusively, but a taste of my husband's salty, crispy tostones paired with a perfect dipping sauce made me get my own order for the first time of my life!
I'm very picky about my Latin food as a native New Yorker whose best friend is Mexican, but Primo Latin Cuisine is a definite winner!
Kid-friendliness: Cute mini park play gym attached to Prime and accessible even after closing.

“I love The Pit. This one is as good as the one in Durham. Great pulled pork, and great service despite going in with a party of 15.
The free hush puppies are the best I have had. And the green beans are a little salty (which i like) .
For the bbq chicken you can actually pick white or dark meat, so that's awesome too.“

“Apparently the food is good but I wouldn’t know because I couldn’t get the owners/ crew to call me about my order. I was told multiple times, “I will call you back”. I was even told to send the menu I desired. It was my daughter’s first birthday and I needed a caterer. Customer service is important but clearly that is not Corner Boys priority.
UPDATE: After posting my previous review, I spoke with James from Corner Boys and I must say I am truly pleased with the conversation we had. He showed how important customer service was to his business. I look forward to working with him in the future.“

“We went Valentine’s Night. Every where had over an hour wait, we got here and my party of 6 was seated immediately! Our server was amazing! And the food was outstanding! They had a limited menu for valentines night so we will definitely go back on another night to try more items!“
