I’m not just a foodie. I’m in the biz, worked at legit places in a ton of cities. This is the best restaurant in the triangle. No one is doing this food this well. Incredible. No notes. Please support places like this or we won’t have them.
Best Mexican food I ever had. Different style than I would say traditional.. it’s different. It’s so good!

Based on the reviews, Mala Pata Molino + Cocina is the best restaurant in the triangle, serving food that is incredibly delicious and perfectly plated. Every dish has the perfect combination of textures, colors, and temperature. The food comes fast, is perfectly cooked, and features traditional Mexican/Oaxacan flavors at their finest. Standout meals include the sweet corn cachapas, fish tacos with house made hot sauce, blue corn biscuit with whipped agave butter, lamb barbacoa Benedict, and the Colombian Bunelos. The service is amazing, with staff who are incredibly sweet, wonderful, warm, welcoming, and attentive. The cocktails are fresh, tasty, and fun, with a great wine selection and top Agave Spirits. The Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition is well-deserved. This is a new favorite restaurant in Raleigh and a must visit.
