Oh my, this place is fantastic. The best tortillas, steak, everything. Intentional and delicious food with an amazing array of mezcal and cocktails. Service is off the charts - very friendly and enthusiastic about their work and the quality of what they serve.
Great vibe, interesting menu, easily sharable plates. Only comment is that the signature Fuego Margarita didn't have much bite, was expecting it to be spicy. Otherwise, highly recommend!
Really great experience. Lucky to get a 2 top at the Peyote bar on a busy Saturday night. Karissa was a fantastic server who is knowledgeable and well versed in proper service which is hard to come by. She gave great suggestions, cleared after each course, and her exceptional customer service did not waver as she served outdoor tables and supported the bar. Based on the reviews, Mala Pata Molino + Cocina is the best restaurant in the triangle, serving food that is incredibly delicious and perfectly plated. Every dish has the perfect combination of textures, colors, and temperature. The food comes fast, is perfectly cooked, and features traditional Mexican/Oaxacan flavors at their finest. Standout meals include the sweet corn cachapas, fish tacos with house made hot sauce, blue corn biscuit with whipped agave butter, lamb barbacoa Benedict, and the Colombian Bunelos. The service is amazing, with staff who are incredibly sweet, wonderful, warm, welcoming, and attentive. The cocktails are fresh, tasty, and fun, with a great wine selection and top Agave Spirits. The Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition is well-deserved. This is a new favorite restaurant in Raleigh and a must visit.
