Deep River is conveniently located in downtown Clayton. It has a really laidback atmosphere, welcoming staff, and is dog friendly. You can check out their website for fun events like musical bingo, and they often have food trucks onsite. Bonus - they have sour beer options and cute merchandise.
I went with my friends and we had a lot of fun. They have a great selection of beers at a reasonable price. Definitely try the Pumpkin Pie Porter, it was great! I want to go back hopefully sometime soon when they have live music.

This was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed! My book club met here and there was plenty of space for us to mingle. I'm not a craft beer drinker but I did sample their seltzers, which were all good, and I ended up doing a half and half with their limoncello and sour cherry (at the suggestion of the bartender). It was delicious! I'll definitely go back.
