First Street Tavern is a charming and fun environment! The food was delicious and the drinks were great too! The only thing was that there is not much space to sit and it can get very crowded inside.
The concept of this place is really cool. It’s basically like being at an organized house party. There’s plenty of things to do and the drinks are really good! The bartenders are super friendly and they are accommodating and creative with drink suggestions. There’s plenty of spaces that are set up well for mingling opportunities or just a place to bring a group of friends for a fun night. It’s also walkable to other bars in the area which is a plus.

Walking up to this place was a fun surprise. It's a big Victorian style house and very welcoming. The interior was a little frat-ish. The rooms weren't lit very well and the bar in the corner looked makeshift. To say this place was casual is an understatement. The food was delicious, but once again, served in paper and plastic gave the sense it was cutting corners. It seemed to have a house of enthusiastic local supporters. My cosmo was wonderful! No Dewars for my husband. :/
