“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

“The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. This is an environment that will put a smile on your face, Ben and staff are simply exceptional, every visit feels like coming home to dinner. “Great little neighborhood deli in N. Raleigh area. Ordered the Grand Gobbler on focaccia (bread was perfect & so fresh) & the potato salad (literally some of the best I’ve ever had). It was all so plentiful & so very good! Place has a very simple, but tasteful menu. Super nice staff working Sabrina & (Dalton brought our food out & spoke) he always does a perfect job on preparing our sandwiches! 🥪 Overall service was great! Definitely a must for a quick lunch stop! Will definitely be back asap!“

“I’ve been to a lot of different Piadas but this one was the only one that used a pan to mix the pasta. This made the meal SO much better. Not to mention the service. Allen was wonderful and recommended a spicy ranch that I hadn’t tried before. Everyone seems to be super happy here (which I cannot say about other locations haha). Very pleased!“

“We stopped for lunch and drinks at Bearded Bee with our dog and little girl while in the area. Great selection of beers, I really liked the Irish Goodbye. I'll have to return and try some others. They have food trucks for lunch and the dumpling truck was great when we visited. Dogs are allowed inside and they have water bowls and treats for the pups. They even have games for kids so great for the whole family. Will definitely return“

“I’ve experienced how wonderful Hawaii’s shaved ice is and never thought I’d be able to find Anything close here on the mainland. Boy was I wrong! Pelicans has the absolute best. Best shaved eyes next to Hawaii of course that I have ever experienced so much variety and so many unique flavors and combinations kids love it. I’m 50 and I absolutely love it kid at hard. I guess you could say but it’s great for all ages.“

Every single one of the girls who works here is amazing, they’re consistently friendly, upbeat, and put you in a good mood. Plus, the drinks are packed with flavor, yet they feel super light and refreshing. It’s just an awesome experience every time!

My favorites are Pepino loco and Piña loca as well as the creamy caramel coffee, oh and you must try the Famous Jesse Protein Waffles 🧇 <—— these are truly the best protein waffles you will ever have.

Jenna was as friendly as could be and she was extremely fast with having to both take orders, take payment and fulfill the orders. “The bagels and spreads are delicious, worth the trip and always fresh. However, the hours are awful! They close at 2:00. I have been by countless times between 2:00-3:00 and they are always closed. It’s very frustrating. They lose a lot of business not staying open just an hour later. I hope this will change.“

“I recently visited Oak City Brewing Company and had a great experience overall. The atmosphere is super laid-back and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing after a long day. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and I love how spacious it feels.

Their drink selection is solid with a nice variety, and the cider was definitely my favorite—super refreshing and flavorful. Everything I tried tasted fresh and well-made.

What really stood out to me was the vibe—friendly staff, good music, and just an easygoing energy that makes you want to stay longer. It’s definitely a great local spot to unwind.

“Don't believe the photo that comes up on the tripadvisor page. When I visited in April 2025, they closed at 5:00 Mon-Thurs, not 8:00. Their website has the correct hours. I had the fried chicken lunch special. It came with two sides and two slices of garlic toast. $9.99. The chicken was juicy and the breading had great flavor. The mac and cheese side was creamy and delish. The broccoli and cauliflower side needed salt and pepper. Nice sized portions for the sides. The garlic bread could use more garlic flavoring. Some patrons at my place of employment told me that they come here several times a week for lunch. The staff is very friendly, even towards me, a newcomer. They seemed to know everyone else in the restaurant. Lots of regulars, which is a good sign.“

But my biggest complaint is with this place I get a different experience every time I come with the staff some are really great and helpful and one girl had no clue about any of the smoothies than I already missed out twice on getting my points because there system was down or the touch screen was not working. But again the smoothies are good and fresh so that will keep me coming back. But I wish they had the same staff.“

“First, the address on TripAdvisor is not accurate. They have moved. The correct address is on their website. \nEven with the trip downtown and back to the restaurant which as it turned out was only a mile or so from our hotel, it was so worth it. For starters we had the creamy crab soup. It was indeed delicious. I told our server I was tempted to cancel our order and just get another bowl of soup. Fortunately, we didn’t. Our entree was a fried seafood basket consisting of shrimp, oyster’s, and flounder. It came with two sides and we got the hand cut fries and coleslaw. We also ordered a half order of hush puppies that came with honey butter. Everything was delicious. Cooked perfectly. The only thing we didn’t eat all of was the fries because there was a bunch of them. The half order of hush puppies was about a dozen and we brought a few home. They were indeed great. \nHighly recommend this place.“
