“This place is outstanding. Travel always eat Italian all over the USA. With out hesitation this is great. Red “gravy” is the best. Nothing negative to say in this delicious restaurant! Raleigh do not miss out! You will need a reservation. Or sit at the Bar!“
“The food here is amazing! The hours of operation are insanely terrible! They close at 9pm on Friday nights. Whoever the manager is that made that decision should immediately fire themselves!! In what world does a pizza place close at 9pm on a Friday night???!! You’re legitimately closing yourself off from the late night drunk/stoner crowd! Great job! It’s asinine! If they had NORMAL pizza place hours, this would be the absolute perfect pizza place. End rant.“
“Hi Y’all, Yankee here! If you’re coming to Amedeo’s looking for “Yankee” level Italian food you are going to underwhelmed. However, if you go expecting to be immersed in the NC state community and eat some pretty serviceable Italian food, you will leave happy. Can’t miss all the old memorabilia, this is a must stop.“
“Wonderful pizza! Generous slices, thin crust with just the right texture and toothsomeness (if that’s a word), good amount of cheese. Super nice and friendly staff. A winner all around! Good value too w 2-slice special (huge slices) and drink for about $8.“
“You’re wasting your time if you go to another pizza place. Mike’s pizza is the most authentic and genuine experience you can get around here.Parking: Plenty shopping center parkingKid-friendliness: Brought my baby and toddler. Never an issue“
“Don't judge a book by its cover!! That's all you need to know about Frank's. We were in Raleigh for the day and looking for some authentic NY style pizza. I found an article online that talked about how great Frank's is and we decided to give it a shot. Upon arrival, we realized we were in what appeared to be a sketchy part of town. Trash everywhere in the plaza parking lot and some shady looking characters hanging around. We came very, very close to leaving due to this first impression, but I'm SO glad we didn't. Once we were inside of the restaurant, the uneasy feeling we had in the parking lot disappeared entirely. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, staff was attentive, and food was off the charts!! Everything we ordered tasted like it was made from scratch and the prices were very reasonable. I hate that Frank's is likely losing customers due to factors beyond their control, like their location and the shady characters in the area. They really do rank among the best pizza joints I have ever eaten at. If you're in the area, please give them a try. It's worth it!“
“Chow now more like chow later.Ordered food at 6:08pm on Friday. Was told 25-30 minutes according to online ordering/chow now.Once ordered new time was 1 hour and 20!!!Don’t trust chow now.Restaurant was willing to cover the order without me asking. Kudos to them. So 5 stars. Great service from restraunt but not from online orderer they are using.“
“First and foremost let me say thank you for the very gracious military discount. I didn't even get discounts like that from the military itself lol. Okay now the food. So many great pizza choices, he salad bar is pretty large for a pizza place, the pasta is always fresh, and they even have ribs and chicken most of the time I go. I wonder if this is a Pizza Buffet or just a potluck diner hiding in plain site? So many amazing options. My only beef is I feel like Milton's is keeping me chubby lol I go in saying just 2 plates and I'm out. 8 plates later.......... Oh and I always crave them on Mondays when they are closed. I feel like we need a few more Miltons in the area.“
“Robert told me this pizzeria is under new management with big Pat. Guys it is night and day the difference. I work at the airport and they are the only ones that will come out here!! Their pizza is the best no doubt about it!! Try them out again. Their wings are better than Buffalo Wild Wings.“
“I normally don’t do foodie posts, but this San Franciscan has found a fabulous little Italian hole in the wall restaurant! The garlic knots were insanely good, hot, and served with marinara. My Farmaggio calzone was not too greasy and scored to allow the cheese to ooze through. The bread was brushed in a buttery garlic glaze that made it crisp but not overly buttery. It’s been two years since I tasted Italian this good! I cannot wait to try their lasagna, Penne all’s Vodka and tiramisu!!!“
“We were visiting our son in Raleigh - it was lovely weather, so we sat outside. The vibe was friendly, family oriented, and neighborhood like. The service was awesome - courteous and attentive. Brussel sprouts were amazing - pizza with arugula was one of the best I've had. Paired with simple aperol spritz cocktails and IPA's, made for a beautiful evening.Parking: Parking behind bldg is free after 5pm. (Govt parking lot)“
“Helpful and friendly staff, food was delicious and priced great! Good portion of meat and vegetables in the pasta unlike some places. Plus it was enough for lunch and dinner too. I will definitely come back. They give you a ticket to go pay at the cashier.“
“The employees, from hostess to waitress, were polite and paid attention to the things we needed. They were quick; the food was fantastic, and the price was reasonable! I live close to a different Mellow Mushroom in another town and this one had a much funkier and cooler atmosphere. Super glad we chose to eat here!Parking: You pulled right up to the side of the building without any trouble. Even though we were not in need of special assistance, I did notice that the place was reasonably handicapped accessible.Kid-friendliness: The host is provided crayons and drawing sheets with images on them for the kids to color. The tables were big enough to support everyone and our messiness. The kids also loved the big mushrooms outside.“
“I love that there is indoor and outdoor seating here. A couple of friends introduced me to the wonderful world of Ruckus last year and I can honestly say I haven't had anything I didn't like. I recently tried the mozzarella sticks and they are delicious. The staff is always friendly, quick to serve, and honest about wait times. If they tell you that your food will take 20 minutes, it'll take 20 minutes or less. You won't be told 20 minutes and then end up waiting an hour. I love Ruckus and look forward to all the visits and delicious food in my future!Parking: Ruckus is part of a shopping center. Parking is available for all businesses. I have been quite a few times at various times (from lunch to late night) and I've never had a problem finding a parking spot.“
“When I first moved down here from New Jersey, my brother and I found Vivo. We were so grateful because where we are from, we are used to having top notch authentic Italian places close by. When we first came, we were ecstatic about the food. It made us feel like we were back home a filled a huge void that we had in the southern Italian scene. Pizza, pastas, and especially the pasta fagioli soup absolutely incredible never tasted a better version, in fact, as an avid home cook, I tried to dissect what they were doing to make the soup so flavorful and delicious. I came to the conclusion/assumption that they must have been blending some of the ingredients like the beans and veg into the broth, which gave it the perfect viscosity and flavor. I have recommended Vivo to over 100 people as a hidden gem of the area because of this soup alone lol.A little bit back, they started to make some changes. Starting with the menu, which eliminated both my brother and I's go to entrees (chicken cannelloni and linguine w clams/shrimp). Of course restaurants want to stay exciting and make changes which I support, but these changes did not seem to be going in a better direction. (IMO) We made adjustments because prior, everything was delicious. We started trying some new things and a lot of it still great, but the new items didn't quite do it like the old. If they did, I would have no complaints. Lately, the changes have become a little intolerable. Mainly because the quality of food has been falling off a bunch. My brother was always very into the chopped salad, the way it was finely chopped and loaded w great accoutrements, good acid, although now it has become more leafy, less dressed (mostly oil)less chopped, and less topped. The most heartbreaking change has to be the soup tho. It went from what I have called the best soup I have ever had, to what tastes like chicken broth out of the box. It lost all of its thick rich flavor and has been a huge disappointment which has led to our decline in going. I hate to talk like this about Vivo because they are great people who has brought us many great meals, but I want to bring awareness to whoever can control these variables that it is very recognizable to the customers. Whether it is to save time money or effort, it has been the cause of losing some of your most loyal customers and may not be worth it.There are still plenty of things that are incredible about Vivo, and I do plan to come back, but what was once a weekly routine that we looked forward to has fallen off our list of options quickly with the changes that have taken place over the past year. At the very least, bring the old pasta fagioli recipe back. I'm writing this review because we were just talking about where we should eat tonight, which used to not even be a question for our early in the week dinner routine, because we always wanted Vivos. And I'm sad to say that we don't consider it anymore because of the kitchens decline. I am still giving four stars because of all the joy that this place has brought us in the past. Thank you for reading and I hope management/kitchen take this in a way that can help Vivo in the long run.“
“I saw this place on door dash and wanted to visit for a while. It was definitely better than I expected! I didn't realize they had so many options. I got the three cheese manicotti and it was delicious and well made. The amount of sauce and cheese was perfect and they have parmesan on the tables as well. The bread was outstanding, soft with a crispy crust. The sweet tea does have a lemony flavor which I enjoyed but I know not everyone might. My friend ordered the baked ziti and had no issues. Definitely give it a try!“
“discovered Avent Ferry Pizza, and I must say, it has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious pizza in town. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere, which immediately made me feel welcomed. The menu offers a wide variety of pizza options, from classic favorites to unique and creative combinations. The quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, while the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. Each pizza is prepared with care and attention to detail, resulting in a truly satisfying experience. What sets Avent Ferry Pizza apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and always willing to accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions. The variety allows for a complete dining experience, whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends and family. The prices at Avent Ferry Pizza are reasonable, considering the quality and portion sizes. The value for money is outstanding, making it even more appealing to visit frequently.Overall, I cannot recommend Avent Ferry Pizza enough. It is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. Whether you're craving a classic Margherita or a unique specialty pizza, this place has it all. With their friendly service, high-quality ingredients, and unbeatable flavors, Avent Ferry Pizza has become my favorite pizza spot in town. Give it a try, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed!“
“Amazing product choices. Unexpected great prices on most items. Really big store and cool atmosphere. Most of the customers are snooty and privileged, but that's not Wegmans' fault. I go there every time I'm in the neighborhood.“
“We've been going here for years and it's a winner every time. Always a lively, busy atmosphere and the service is consistently great. The menu offers a variety of options, and I recommend the fresh guacamole as a starter. The beer/wine menu feels limited to me, so I usually go for a yummy signature cocktail. There is limited seating on the patio so make a reservation if you want to dine outside and enjoy warmer weather. Overall, Tazza Kitchen Village District is two-thumbs up!“
“My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner before a concert. Service was prompt and friendly, there is a great selection of beer, and my southwest chili and salad was awesome environment and of course we grabbed a few stickers and pint glass on the way out ?“
“My wife and I visited the Pizza Bar for a late lunch today. Not busy, but it was mid-afternoon. I started with a wonderful Caesar salad, so fresh and crispy. My wife had the margherita pizza (added pepperoni), and I had the tré pepperoni pizza. The pizzas are 6 slices and plenty of food for a hungry patron (me)! What I was most impressed with was the crispy, yet so soft, crust…very flavorful. There are many other offerings here, if you’re not hungry for pizza. I’ll sample more of the menu on future visitsI highly recommend this North Hills eatery.“
“The service was excellent! It was my first time trying this place. The pizza was okay. We got the Flyin Hawaiian. The crust wasn't very flavorful. The toppings were good but not as great as I expected. I got a cocktail from Flask-connected to the restaurant, a negroni, and it was super bitter. I couldn't finish it. I will try it again. Maybe it was just an off night.“
“We went Saturday 03/30/2024 and the service was awesome. We had a young lady wait on us. I think her name was Jennifer (not sure) but she kept my boyfriends drink cup full and it never went under half way. Which is a good thing because he drinks alot. We got the buffet and we were surprised at what kinds of food was on the buffet. Everything was clean and neat. We definitely will be coming back!“
“Very nice environment. I opted for the chili because it was quick and simple. The chili was very watery and more like soup. I asked to have it removed from my bill and the server was polite and addressed it immediately. I then ordered a burger to go and it as fair. Nothing special. I have eaten here before and the food and service was much better.“
“What a wonderful experience!!! Food was amazing, amazing service by Tanya and good decor too. Felt so comfortable and happy. Had the loaded potato skin and Greek pie pizza. Both were crispy, had fresh ingredients and lovely! Super full and couldn’t be at desserts. Will be coming again to try the other items on menu :) and all for reasonable prices!!!Dietary restrictions: Ask for specific ingredients or sauce info and they were super helpful. I swapped tomato base with pestoWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“Excellent fish and chips. Large portions. I had to finish up my wife's plate and her friends also.Flaky well prepared fish. I had the shepherds pie which was also very good. Attentive service not only from our waitress but others also.Key lime cheesecake was wonderful.“
“Love Brixx. Since my discovery in 2023, I've been 6 times when I've been around the Raleigh area. I have Celiac, and they have 2 types or GF crust. I have not had a problem. The servers are well educated and helpful in ordering. The price is a lot for the size, and until there is a big shake up in the restaurant industry, as a gluten-free diner, we know we pay extra to stay safe. The wings go well with the pizza, too.Dietary restrictions: Special care taken for gluten-free. Free parking.Parking: Never had an issue.“
“Being a native New Yorker always looking for good pizza and Peri Brothers is it the crust is thin the sauce is top notch and the people are hard to come by in food service. It is the best Pizza in NC with out doubt. Thank you for making our day my wife loves it just as much.“
“I have to say this is the best NY pizza I ever had. We had a big family gathering last week. The owner Zach, was very hospitable and friendly, exceptionally excellent service.Diffintely we will visit next time in town.Keep up the good work ??“
“Hands down the BEST pizza in Raleigh! After moving here last year from Chicago I’ve been disappointed in the overall “food” this area has to offer, especially the PIDZ!! A flyer was sent in my mailbox and I was elated to find this is a Chicago based chain!! I was finally happy to find an AMAZOS pizza that I can finally eat and truly enjoy!! ???. My only complaint is the hours. You need to open for lunch during the week also instead of after 3:30. I’ve ordered delivery and have done dine-in. Service is always friendly and fast. Please note for Non Chicagoans: if ordering a DEEP DISH PIDZ it will take 45-1 hr this is an amazing pidz worth waiting for and you will see WHY when you get it!! Enjoy ?????“
“This is my favorite pizza restaurant in all of Raleigh. The staff are always pleasant. The food is always top notch. Their pizza slices are big, thin, and loaded with the right amount of toppings. The garlic knots are drenched in garlic butter. … just perfect. The crust of the pizza is fantastic, which, to me, makes or breaks the pizza joint. For Randy’s, it makes it.I have eaten here for 10+ years at this location and in Morrisville. It never disappoints!!“
“I recently discovered Manhattan Pizza. So far, they haven't disappointed. They offer a wide variety of options on their menu. Besides their pizza, I have enjoyed their pepperoni rolls, spinach rolls, and Greek salad. (I can't comment on the Atmosphere because I have only used their delivery service.)“
“Farina Neighborhood Italian is one of our favorites for date nights, celebrations, or just grabbing a quick bite to eat. Located in Lafayette Village it is nestled in an array of shops and other restaurants and is always our go-to. The staff is kind and welcoming, and the food is always delicious. Portion sizes are generous and having the option to share plates and eat family-style is a great option. We will continue to be repeat customers and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere created here.“
“Ordered their lunch portion of spaghetti and meatballs and it was absolutely delicious! Best spaghetti I have had in a while!! Also throughly enjoyed the garlic rolls it came with. Will absolutely be returning. Thank you for your hard work and delicious food!“
“First time trying Mellow mushroom after seeing it ranked high on top pizza charts & they didn't disappoint. The ingredients taste so fresh and I almost ate the whole pizza I kept grabbing slices. Its so good. Think Pappa John's crust, Pizza hut sauce, little Ceasars cheese, Domino's toppings and God's “
“OMG‼️‼️‼️ THE PIZZA ?WAS AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS ?I had the Margarita pizza and a regular slice ?Both were Absolutely Delicious ?‼️‼️‼️The owner Leo and his team were great ‼️It was my 1st time eating their pizza and I will be a regular customer and tell all my friends from NYC that I finally found a pizzeria that makes pizza like the authentic New York style pizza!!It’s the Real Deal ‼️Leo.. you were right ????????❤️?“
“Overall Rating: 5.6/10Ordered takeout for dinner, and it was fine but didn't stand out. The wings were definitely the better part of the meal compared to the pizza.Food:Thin Crust Pizza: 5.1/10The pizza was okay. The middle seemed too thick. The sauce was the highlight, adding some needed flavor.Buffalo Wings: 6.1/10The wings were the highlight – crispy and flavorful. I chose the mild option, and it was just the right level of spice, making them enjoyable.“
“I called in to place the order. All my foods wete ready for pickup by the time I got there. Food were great. Pizza was soft and delicious. This is my go to place whenever I crave for pizza or wings.Dietary restrictions: They have option for Gluten free and Vegan pizza which is great.“
“Mona, Nil, and Jason were absolutely wonderful and accommodating! As someone who cannot have dairy, the vegan pizza made me feel like I was having real cheese again! Thank you so much for your great service and your great restaurant!Highly recommend!“
“Excellent brick oven pizzas with reasonable pricing. Small cup and char pepperoni which is rare in the Raleigh area. Superb excellent service even though we arrived a half hour before closing. Missing a star because the interior is a little dated and worn, but the food and service makes up for that.“
“The time you walk in the Restaurant you can feel the positive energy of the Establishment and the guys that work there, makes your dine in very comfortable. I advise anyone in the Raleigh NC area to try it out one time. They have the best lemonade on this side of the Mississippi River....!!!Vegetarian options: It has its perks“
“Dantes is by far an AMAZING place to eat! Danny and his wife Randi are two of the kindest most supportive people. What makes them the best is their support for the arts and independent filmmakers. They not only allowed our production to film there, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND with the hospitality while also bringing in some of their own regulars to be featured as extras. It was truly an experience of a lifetime and we cannot wait to work with them again!!! NC is big on the arts and it’s amazing to see businesses support LOCAL ARTISTS! The food is wonderful. I haven’t had anything bad from there! I’m fact Danny gave me some soup when I had a cold. They even gave us a signature cocktail called the Blind Date! Check them out in Blind Date releasing the end of this year! What makes them even more special is the fact that I have been going here since I was a kid!“
“This is my first time here, and it was pretty short staffed. The environment and place is clean by the way. The guy at the counter is chill like some other places. It's smart and awesome that this Marco's at glenwood ave has a dine in for people to eat pizza. I might bring friends to eat pizza with at this Marco's. The pepperoni pizza that I bought from this place tasted pretty great. I'll be buying my favorite pizza predominantly at Marcos and sometimes other pizza places in my opinion. Don't worry I'll be back, but I gotta watch my diet first, he he. :)“
“Was in Raleigh and was looking for a slice of pizza. Found this on Google map. Across from NC State campus. A little busy, but service was pretty quick. Got only one slice. Pepperoni and Mushroom. Crist was thin. There was enough cheese and toppings to make it worthwhile. Big and good. There is a lot of selection. Definitely worth the trip.Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza and garlic knots.“
“Best restaurant in Raleigh and has an experienced staff! Been going 15 years and it just keeps getting better. I have referred dozens of people to BELLA over the years and they have done the same. Only 2nd review I've ever taken time to write up so kudos!“
“Absolutely delicious Gourmet Stuffed Spinach & Mushroom Pizza! ? (which is quite possibly the *BEST* white pizza in the region)Also have a pretty good Chicken Alfredo.Garlic Bread can be hit-or-miss: sometimes great & soft, sometimes tough & dense…Having a costumer-exclusive semi-enclosed dining area somewhat separated from the rest of the mall food court is nice too.⚠️ONLY 1 FREE REFILL / DRINK!⚠️“
“We went for dinner a Monday night, they had music playing and towards the time we were leaving they were doing trivia too, seemed fun and lively. I got the honey bourbon wings as recommended by my waiter, and they were really good! They compared them to bbq but had an interesting kick to them. We waited 15 minutes after we asked for out check and that was the only downside of the night.“
“Rudinos was one of my favorite places to grab lunch when I first moved to the area over 20 years ago, and they were very popular, with multiple locations in the area.Sadly, I guess people moved on, because lots of their locations near me are gone, and the 2 times I've made the trip to this location to grab lunch in the past year, they were practically empty :(The food is still really good (even though they put less meat on their sandwiches than they used to).I hope there are other times where they are busy, because I would hate to see this location close down too :(I'll be in the area a little more often in the future, so I'll be sure to come grab a sandwich when I'm nearby.(also their pizza used to be amazing - not sure how it is now, but it's pizza - kinda hard to screw that up, so I'm assuming it's still good)“
“Thank you, Pizza Express, for saving the day! I ordered delivery for a class party at a local middle school after a different pizza place made a mistake with my order, and asked Pizza Express to rush my order. They had it delivered in the blink of an eye, and before the end of the class period. Crisis averted, and a huge thank you to Pizza Express!“
“This place is a hidden gem. Samsas were flaky and the filling was so decedent. Loved the Plov too, the meat was very tender. The beef kababs were okay in my opinion, didn't find anything special. I want to come back to try other dishes on the menu. The kachapuris looked awesome so have to give it a try.“
