50 Best Pizza Restaurants in Raleigh

“Great pizza and they have a pouch of fresh basil. The pizza was delicious but the location is hard to access. By the time I could find parking, the pizza wasn’t hot. I made the order online and couldn’t get to the pizza.

There is no off street parking and the restaurant doesn’t offer a pick-up/take-out parking lot.

I tried parking at a bike store across the street you run over and pick-up a pizza, but the guy at the bike store was very rude and unfriendly, and made be leave. It makes me not want to visit Raleigh again. Not Oakwood pizzas fault. You wouldn’t have rude neighboring businesses in western North Carolina.

Parking: No parking. Don’t park at the bike store. They are super rude and unprofessional.“

“Our party of 10 adults and kids visited here on a Sunday night for my birthday. We had seating on the covered patio and the weather was absolutely perfect. Eden was our server. She brought waters out immediately. She gave us just the right amount of time to decide on our meals and took our orders. Food came out fairly quickly and everything was correct and delicious. Apparently I was hungry because I forgot to take pictures of any of it. Eden anticipated our every need. We never wanted for drink refills, extra sauce, to go boxes. She even brought out a cinnamon pretzel in the shape of a 50 for my birthday! It was such a fun birthday experience. 8 year old niece has decided this is her new favorite restaurant!“

“I found V Pizza in 2020 during COVID when I was new to Raleigh and fell in love with the food. I have never been disappointed with anything that I've purchased. I've had the pizza, stromboli, wings, and tiramisu. All were amazing. On top of the food,, they give back to the community and treat their employees like family. What more can you ask for?“

“I visited this location recently with my daughter who has experienced to a TBI and was recently out the hospital like two days ago. She had been there for four months upon our arrival the manager Mike was very observant. My daughter was saying she was extremely hungry. She did not want to wait to order. He immediately noticed a situation without asking any questions. He listened to what she said and was very patient and kind. Not taking away from the waitress cause she was extremely nice as well. “I wasn’t feeling well and since am the chef of the family I decided to order as I went through the options I came across Assaggio’s (where have you been) well no regrets. I got spaghetti n meatballs for my husband and son for myself I got the Gnocchi, let me tell you the portions nice size I ate I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The food came in hot like I was sitting in the restaurant. The taste omg fantastic salad fresh. Thank you Assaggio’s for feeding my family this good when I can’t get up to make it to the stove. “This place was just a short walk from the hotel I was staying at, and I wanted to have a nice night in by myself eating pizza in my hotel room. I ordered on the SliceLife app and ordered two slices of NY Plain Cheese with an appetizer of mozzarella sticks. After I placed my order, the app said the order was ready within seconds of me placing the order. I went over to the restaurant and had to wait about 5-10 minutes for my food. They heated up my pizza slices, stuck them in a box, and I took it back to the hotel. When I opened the box, I realized I should have gotten one slice because the slices are HUGE! The mozzarella sticks were a good portion too. It seems that they accidentally gave me the NY White slices but they tasted really good. The food was definitely a lot!The value was good and the taste was amazing. I definitely will be coming back! Someone can definitely eat well here for less than $10 which is fantastic.“

“Great cozy little pizza parlor! Went there with my wife and we got a pepperoni stromboli and an italian sausage calzone. Really big portions, dough was perfectly cooked and golden, soft and crispy at the samw time. Mozerella sticks we had as an appetizer were def a cut above other places, and their marinara sauce is really flavorful. And everybody behind the counter was super friendly. “Lilly's Pizza: A Slice of Heaven
I recently had the pleasure of trying Lilly's Pizza, and I'm so glad I did! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, creating the perfect balance of texture. The sauce was flavorful and not too overpowering, allowing the taste of the cheese and toppings to shine through.

I ordered the Sir Walter pizza and it was plentiful and cooked to perfection. The cheese was gooey and melted perfectly over the pizza. The overall flavor was fantastic, and I couldn't get enough.

The atmosphere at Lilly's was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning to Lilly's Pizza in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying pizza experience.

“I received an offer on my phone so I thought I’m on vacation I will try. Usually every PH is different. This by far had complete 5 stars from beginning to finish. I ordered for pickup 30 minutes prior to closing. Female employee brought order out was so nice wasn’t angry because late ordering. She was the best I. The 5 minutes I knew her. The ambiance is super nice and even make it comfortable to sit out there when it gets cold too as they have space heaters outside if you choose to sit there. I wish the service was a little quicker and more coordinated since last time there were people waiting 5 minutes for food while other were waiting for about 45 in my party.
