“Had a light dinner with friends at this restaurant. The buffalo chicken wrap was delicious. My friends enjoyed their burgers. The atmosphere was pleasant enough, but be advised that seating at their booths is a little tight. The boots are kind of short--lengthwise, so be prepared to sit kind of close to the person next to you if you are seated at a booth.“

“After my first couple times going to this establishment I was going to rate the service a 2/5 stars because the service wasn’t good and the servers were not very attentive. But then one day I came in and this one server named Xara, a short and stunning woman with beautiful hair, who was very nice and caring. Very attentive and took care of everything I needed with haste as well. She was the only worker I noticed who wasn’t on her phone and was smiling. Very social and making everybody happy. Every second I was there she was only trying her best and making everybody around her smile. She changed my original vote to rate the service a 5/5. Thank you Xara for making my experience worth it, I’ll be coming back plenty times over to see you.“

“Solid food with a great atmosphere. The restaurant really captures the rich culture, history, and personal attachment that fans have with the state college. The ambiance is definitely the best part, as it is a sports bar at its base, but it's really cool to see the attachment and local support surrounding NC State and their sports. Wish the service was a little quicker but I can hardly complain as I went during one of their busiest times. Overall, you can't miss this spot, you'll constantly find something new on the walls that you missed the last time“

“Thanksgiving for dinner, my daughter and son-in-law took me to The Pickled Onion at Wakefield. It was their first time as well as my first time eating here. I had a ribeye steak (medium well) with baked potato and salad, It was cooked to perfection and tender. My son-in-law got wings, my daughter got stuffed jalapeños and a salad. They also really enjoyed their food. As far as service goes, we were checked on often to see if we needed refills or needed anything. First experience here could not have been any better. Will definitely be going back.“

“I arrived here at 7:18pm on a Friday night with a friend to get some food and a drink. We sat at a high top by the entrance. It wasn’t busy at all. About a minute after sitting, the waitress came over to introduce herself and bring waters.

Around 7:30pm, we ordered chips and queso, drinks, from the bartender who came over to serve us. Our drinks arrived 7:35pm and they were tasty.

I ordered our food at 7:36pm and it came at 8pm. I got garlic parm wings and a side of fries. My friend got a quesadilla. The fries are LARGE and shareable! All of the food was tasty and we enjoyed it greatly.

No complaints at all, really. Waiter was attentive and prompt. I would definitely return.“
