“Food was great (I get the cheese curds every time I go :) ) and the service was excellent. I imagine it might be rowdier if there was a big game or something on, but this is my Go-To Restautant in the Brier Creek zone, especially with their late hours!“
“Slowly becoming a "not so hidden" gem in North Raleigh. Exquisite wine and beer selection. The welcoming atmosphere is the complete package: knowledgeable and attentive bartenders, oodles of TV's... just a generally sociable place. Love the new outdoor seating as well!“
“me and a friend went last night, the atmosphere was a very chill and inviting vibe, Luke was our server and he was absolutely fantastic, one of the best servers I’ve ever had, we had great conversation and he was super knowledgeable and spot on with suggestions from the menu, this will be my new hangout spot for sure ! The drinks and food was very good and the staff is very friendly. It’s a great place for date night, friend hangouts or even family gatherings“
“Very nice environment. I opted for the chili because it was quick and simple. The chili was very watery and more like soup. I asked to have it removed from my bill and the server was polite and addressed it immediately. I then ordered a burger to go and it as fair. Nothing special. I have eaten here before and the food and service was much better.“
“Interesting sports bar. If you're here for sports and vintage rock and roll on the sound system you're in the right place. The menu has lots to choose from. Good selection of beers. I chose the "famous meatloaf" for my lunch, with brown gravy, mashed potatoes, and onion straws. We, bartender and me, had some communication challenges placing my orders for food or drink but hey, we all struggle. Food arrived. The gravy was congealed on potatoes and meatloaf so it has been sitting awhile. If you like hot food to be hot you may want to add this requirement to your order. Not sure who dubbed the meatloaf famous but ok. It was on the dry side so could have used more, non solidified gravy to be comfortably swallowable. And salt. It definitely needs salt. If you're a Raleigh local I can see this being your go to place. Lots of banter and interaction with the bartenders. If you're an out of towner, particularly a woman on her own with a robo voice, you don't stand a chance.Wheelchair accessibility: Single level, just roll in“
“I absolutely enjoy this place, I gave it a 3 for atmosphere, because sometimes it can be loud and have a younger crowd and if that's not your speed, it may be a bit overwhelming. However, the food is fantastic, the bartenders are kind, attentive and wonderful, and I always have a lovely experience when I go there. Especially when I shut out all of the bartenders who are each amazing in their own way. Great weekly deals on drinks and food, and very reasonable prices and good portions. Friday night is karaoke and it is one of the hottest in the city, so I definitely recommend you popping in for that!“
“We went there for the NFL playoffs and it had a great atmosphere without being too loud or uncomfortable. The games area is the best for the kids...it has a pool, some arcade, foosball and other cool stuff. Service was very quick and the cocktails tasted good. They also have a strong draft menu.Kid-friendliness: Game area“
“This was our first time at this restaurant. We walked from PNC arena to get dinner here before a concert. I still don't know who technically was our server because so many of them stopped by to make sure we were doing okay and get what we needed. My biggest issue was the booth we were seated at, had a row of counter seating right beside it that you felt like they were on top of you. That was a little bit awkward. Other than that, the food was good and the service was great!“
“This place is nice but it feels like a restaurant first, brewery second. Full disclosure, I only had one beer and a meal, but the server couldn't give me any basic details on the beers I asked about and there was no description on the menu, so that's not great. Tacos were okay but felt like they were missing something. Overall I left here satisfied but unimpressed, but this was my only visit so YMMV.“
“This is the best place in Raleigh to get great food fast especially late at night! Other than the amazing food and crazy amount of tvs, pool tables and dart boards, the BEST part of this place is the staff! Plus the seasoned “crack broccoli” is “
“I've visited twice. Once on a slow Sunday afternoon and another time right before a womens basketball game. The food is decent and although the place is a monument to days past, the menu is not stuck in the 1970s. Service was extremely slow and perfunctory both times I visited. The ambience is perfect for a college burger joint. No college town is complete without a place like this. Think Green Leafe or Paul's in Williamsburg, VA for a similar feel. Both times I was surrounded by alumni from decades past and you could just feel their fond memories.Parking: It's on a very busy corner. Expect during main meal times to have to park on a side street nearby and walking a couple blocks.“
“Always buzzing with a local feel, this place never disappoints. I stop in for just drinks before hitting the movies, have had lunch meetings here, and also like to come by for dinner every so often!Great meals and specialty cocktails that put them in the map!“
“Crabtree ale House is the best place in Crabtree to relax with a beer and friends. It is my go to place for a beer and meeting interesting new friends. And introducing the latest specialty. The big Lebowski. The combination of Guinness, Jamison’s Irish whiskeyand Bailey’s Irish cream. A true taste sensation. The dude would definitely approve of.“
“The food was once again over the top. Shrimp was grilled to perfection, only place I know in the Raleigh area to get a real chile reileno. Margaritas are all in-house crafted. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The menu is HUGE. Our server was adorable! Can’t go wrong here!“
“several large screens for viewing the sports channel in all directionscrowd is well engaged. with greatservice. ordered the wings and fries in and out in time for a workbreak .this is the placeWheelchair accessibility: first floor access“
“A really nice and non-fussy sports bar with good food. We live in the neighbourhood so it's really convenient for us to pop by on nights when we're too busy or lazy to make dinner. The vibe is great. They've got TONS of screens and any event you want to watch on, just ask your server for help getting the right channel. They've also got a digital jukebox you could queue up music on, and it's always a nice lively place. The food is good too especially considering the price. It's standard pub fare with generous portions. I do wish some of the items were heavier on the seasoning but they do provide salt and pepper at the table.“
“I have been coming to Sammy’s since I was a kid. It has been my favorite spot among me and my friends, especially karaoke night and trivia! The place is always a fun time! The food is amazing, especially the wings, pizza and sides. The servers, specifically Q, Jojo and Maddy are some of my favorite people that have even become friends. The manager, Michelle, makes every customer feel welcome and is very on top of things. The bartenders make amazing drinks! Highly recommend this place for all your sports, drinking and fun night needs!“
“Rudinos was one of my favorite places to grab lunch when I first moved to the area over 20 years ago, and they were very popular, with multiple locations in the area.Sadly, I guess people moved on, because lots of their locations near me are gone, and the 2 times I've made the trip to this location to grab lunch in the past year, they were practically empty :(The food is still really good (even though they put less meat on their sandwiches than they used to).I hope there are other times where they are busy, because I would hate to see this location close down too :(I'll be in the area a little more often in the future, so I'll be sure to come grab a sandwich when I'm nearby.(also their pizza used to be amazing - not sure how it is now, but it's pizza - kinda hard to screw that up, so I'm assuming it's still good)“
“Tonight's experience was A-1! I spent celebrating my Birthday here tonight. They had a DJ in the building for a nice Friday night vibe. And our server, Reecy was phenomenal! She cater promptly to all our needs, greeted us with a smile and had a happy demeanor the entire time she serviced our table. She completely made my night presenting me with a Birthday cookie and ice cream to top off my night! Thank you Reecy!“
“We went for dinner a Monday night, they had music playing and towards the time we were leaving they were doing trivia too, seemed fun and lively. I got the honey bourbon wings as recommended by my waiter, and they were really good! They compared them to bbq but had an interesting kick to them. We waited 15 minutes after we asked for out check and that was the only downside of the night.“
“I had the best time and I’d like to talk about it.l from the moment I checked in I knew this establishment would be so special. They have fliers that say drive shack is up to par and id definitely say it was a hole in one. So what made this visit so special you ask. Well you see I was seated and greeted by Jeremy. I have never met somebody as animated as him and so kind and respectful. I asked for salt it was out instantly. I would ask for some extra ranch and it was out just as fast as the salt I had asked for. I never even had to ask for refills he was so on top of it. Jeremy didn’t just serve he made this place feel like home when I was starting to think I was all alone. He told me about his dog Jax and his Cat axel now I feel like I need to adopt some animals. We also bonded over Mario party and how he’d choose YOSHI and how I’d choose Birdo. But honestly if you want great service PLEASE go to this location and ask for Jeremy BEST SERVICE EVER“
