The daily fish specials are amazing - well balanced flavors and unique ingredients w a lovely presentation. My wife had the steak frites most recently and loved it!! It’s located near NCSU and if you can get by the traffic, it’s a nice find for a fresh delicious burger. There’s plenty of other order selections to choose from, so try it out 😎“

“I lived in northern New Jersey for 65 years. New Jersey had an abundance of great hot dog and Texas wiener joints. The old Callahan’s and Hiram’s in Fort Lee, Jonny & Hanges in Paterson, the Hot Grill, Goffle Grill and more. I moved down to Raleigh 5 1/2 years ago and it is impossible to get a great wiener with mustard, onions and chilli. Very disappointing. I found Steve’s when I had my car serviced. I must say the all-the-way hot dogs were the closest to my beloved New Jersey weiners. Fries were hot and crispy and the lemonade delicious. Not the most fancy place but the service is friendly and fast. I’ll be back for more.“

“I have tried many Mexican restaurants and none compare to the flavor that THIS specific place produces. We haven't been to other places of its kind after discovering them. It's flavorful everytime! My husband gets the fried chimichangas with steak, kids and I get Texan fajitas and acp. Their huevos rancheros has the most exquisite sauce. There are 2 El Salsas: in Wendell and off Mitchell mill and forestville rd, the forestville location never misses! Very affordable. 10/10 recommend

Only thing I would say about it is that I wished the portion was a little bigger, but that could just be me being greedy. The service was impeccable. The African American woman behind the counter was incredibly nice and helpful. I may have overstayed my welcome by watching a couple of tv episodes, but not a word was said to me. Highly recommend the place.“

“Was visiting in Raleigh and we decided to try this place for the first time and im glad we did. We got the buffalo wings with ranch and a bottle of hot sauce for extra spice and they were some of the best wings ive had and that ranch is so good. We each got our own pizza, my son got pepperoni, wife got margarita pizza and i got a custom with extra pepperoni, sausage, extra onion and green peppers with 4 cheese and their original marinara sauce. Everyone loved the pizza. Just can’t beat a fire cooked pizza. Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t. Wish it was one here in VA but if we ever in the area we’ll definitely be going back.“

I had the baked ziti but with alfredo sauce, and the sauce flavor is absolutely amazing. Not bland at all. I highly recommend this place whether it's lunch, dinner, or even an 11pm date night. They deserve much more business! The sauce is thin and a little runny, but dip your bread sticks in it for a great dipping sauce. The flavor alone captivates it.“

“A good option for lunch. I had the smash cheese burger with tater tots. I started with the tater tots, which were perfect, nice and crispy but not over cooked. I also thought the burger was good, nice portion of meat, well seasoned. You order using a QR code, which creates a little disconnected experience with the staff, but they were all pleasant and offered to help. Soda is also served in a can rather than fountain, I personally prefer unlimited. If I’m in the area again, would grab another burger.“

Several employees came to my rescue, finding jumper cables and blocking off the lane beside of me so an employee could pull beside me to hook up the cables. They made several attempts to get it cranked. One manager even offered me a milkshake as it was extremely hot outside! The customer service at this location is truly “second to none”! “Tuesday evening my husband and I went to Jason's Deli for dinner. Instead of my usual Muffalatta I tried a turkey wrap and a cup of chili. The wrap was very good but, the chili was the BEST that I have ever had !!! Next time no sandwich, just a bowl of that AMAZING chili. Better than my homemade.“
