“They did a great job understanding my daughters order and got it right! A bacon cheese burger with no bun just meat patties bacon and cheese. McDonald's can never get it right. Or Wendy's. We tell jem every time. And to this day they never got it right. But here, on the first try they got it! and even put it on a little tray for her! She absolutely loved it.“

“First visit + great food= I'll be back! Buns is a must visit. The service was fast and friendly. The menu has an array of options, and there is plenty of seating options. We ordered a burger and a hotdog with fries. The hot dog was all beef and the fries reminded me of Five Guys. Buns offers numerous toppings for your fries, burgers and hot dogs. It's a cool place to hang out at during UNC game night.“

“Allen & Son's knows what it's doing -- no frills, simple menu, and incredible barbecue. We got the barbecue plate with barbecue pork, hush puppies, fries, and baked beans. The bean was classic NC vinegar BBQ - succulent and delicious. The hush puppies had a touch of sweetness. The beans were were appropriately sweet and complemented the vinegary flavor of the meat.“

“From out of town but decided to try this place out and it was definitely busy but I soon found out why! Maybe I was just very hungry but this place hands down had the best wings I’ve ever had and their burger I would say was 9.5/10 (lettuce too large haha) but great service too considering how busy they were. I stumbled upon this place, so I stopped in for a bite to eat. I'm glad I did. It is a diamond in the cut! The Tarheel burger is pretty good, although it has a miniscule amount of chili in it. “Best burgers in NC! My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger with fresh onion, mustard and pickle. I just keep it very simple because it’s so delicious in itself I want to taste every bite. Then I take the fresh cut fries and I put some in between a couple of bites, not the whole burger of course, just enough to taste the fries with the fresh cheeseburger. My drink of choice is an ice cold lime coke.“

Folks are more comfortable with driver next to the cashier, hence the right side is always faster. Undo your belt or just reach 'acrosst' , your passenger seat and save 5 -7 minutes. All of their places are fast and consistent at all locations.They appear to own most of their farm to fork process. Hillsborough has plenty of room for a cookout near our 4 interstate highways...Then we won't have to drive from Durham w/ cold BBQ, tater tots.“

“First time here, credit card machine broken; second around time was a charm. Great food, parking lot configuration is traditional Cookout, know your tray and follow the cones going in. Order was quick and precise, line moved rapidly, food was hot and ready to roll.
