We called 5 different restaurants to accommodate our party of 27 people for a surprise birthday party and were turned down because of the size of our party. We called Flying Bull Restaurant and Brewery and they not only said yes.. but heck yes! The service was amazing and the food was top notch! Can not recommend enough. Thank you for making our special persons birthday amazing 🩷
The Molletes was excellent! Great new brunch spot in Durham. Grapefruit mimosa is refreshing.
I love the vibe of this restaurant. I sat at the bar and the attention to detail everywhere I could see was top notch (and they haven’t even completed some of the finishing touches yet). Based on the reviews, Flying Bull Restaurant and Brewery offers a great selection of beers and wine, with exceptional beer and food on par with fine dining. The Aches & Alements was very enjoyable, and the burger and salad were plenty and tasted great. The steak frites and snapper entrée were outstanding, beautifully prepared, and perfectly seasoned. The wings (honey sambal, scotch ale BBQ), deviled eggs, and brussels sprouts small plates did not disappoint. The burger was cooked to perfection with great flavor, and the crispy tater tots side was loved. The chicken wings were phenomenal, and the pan-seared snapper was cooked perfectly. The IPAs, including Dancing with the Bulls and Bull in a Bottle Shop, were excellent choices. The atmosphere is warm, upscale casual, and great for watching sports. Service is fast, friendly, and attentive. It is a great place to take out-of-towners and perfect for a wedding rehearsal dinner.
