“Quick and efficient pickup process. The sausage, egg, and cheese and bacon biscuits were great. The tots were much better than anticipated. Overall a great experience. I was expecting a sit down type of restaurant but the pickup kiosk was a nice modern touch.“

“I so wish I got the young lady's name who helped us this morning because she truly made our day. My 4 year old had been in tears for a solid 15 minutes before we came in to get a treat and she wrapped up her donut in a cute box and got her some milk. When I went to pay her she told me it was on her. The kindness she showed me and my daughter brought me to tears this morning. “Simple yet delicious brunch Order at the counter and grab a table. Don't be intimidated by the crowd - there is high turnover. Their brunch items are simple but well done. I especially liked the avo toast and their Asiago bagel. Don't sleep on their donuts - they are fresh and handmade“

“Seeing Rise come to Carrboro was exciting. Their food is top notch, all of it. I have to vote Sunrise as the best in town for chicken biscuits though. Rise is a close second and awesome. They went to a self order screen system a while back and I am not a fan. The staff has always been really fantastic, but I really wish one of them was how I interacted instead of with a screen. On my last visit, my son and I were first in the door (and only ones) in the morning. It took over 25 minutes to get our food. If it weren't for the friendly staff I would have asked for my money back out of principal. Longer open hours would be great too. I trust my latest experience was an anomaly.“

“Words cannot express how phenomenal a person Sowadi is at Early Bird Donuts. We had recently received troubling medical news about my father and we wanted to buy doughnuts for the nurses that have been taking care of him. The doughnuts looked very delicious and smelled outstanding. Sowadi did something extremely thoughtful and went above and beyond to make our day. “This Rise location is best for takeout due to lack of dine in space. Otherwise, the quality of the biscuits and service from employees is great. I ordered online and arrived earlier than scheduled. It seemed quiet in this branch so the employees prepared my two biscuit order and handed it over soon after I arrived.Parking: It's in a shopping center so parking close to Rise would depend on day and time of day. It's easiest weekday mornings.“
