“I got donuts delivered for Valentine’s Day and they were absolutely perfect. My favorite was the pecan chocolate turtle and my fiancé’s was the lemon poppyseed, but they were all super good. We love these sourdough brioche style donuts because they’re moist, light and fluffy, and not overly sweet. We had bought some of their donuts previously at Idle Hour, but you get the best selection if you pre-order the day before. It’s awesome that they also offer delivery in addition to pick up at Idle Hour. I’m excited to hear that they’re going to be opening their own shop, I highly recommend!“
“I heard this place was opening 2 years ago and it's a sleeping gem. Do you want to remember what Krispy Kream was 40 years ago? It's this place. I have lived in Raleigh for the past 40 years and I cannot remember the last time I felt a bagel and donut place was "authentic" and not just a 'business'. The donuts taste like a fresh baked pastry, because they do bake them fresh. The bagels are home made, not some store bought junk they reheat, and the coffee is flavorful. I am a local so I know the local shops and I'm embarrassed to say I never knew they opened fully for business. I have been to Duck and had fresh Duck donuts, I have been to Krispy Kream on Peace and had theirs for the past 40 years, I have been up north to the original Dunkin, this place beats them all.“
