“Wow wow and wow! I love pastries, doughnuts, and good baked goods. I have sampled my share of what were less than stellar. This place was not one of those.My first indication that this place had potential was the parking lot and drive through. Both were packed and these were local folks. Now be prepared for a line and a little wait, but trust me, it will be worth it.While the inside is small, the food is amazing. Had the steak, egg, and cheese biscuit. The best part… the biscuit. It was one of those you could tell someone knew what they were doing. It was soft with being crispy in the right spots. I do believe the proper shortening or lard was used. They didn’t spare the steak, egg, or cheese either.As we left, we bought a few doughnuts. Oh my. They would be worth a drive alone. The cream was not too sweet and the dough was yeasty - the best. Not greasy. Glazed but not over done.Go early because they sell out fast!“
