“This is the best sushi spot. Hero is very kind, staff are attentive. You have to be smart about when you come in to get the best service; it will always be slower when it’s busy anywhere you go. The atmosphere is great - it feels very homey and warm. And the tuna melts in your mouth. I go whenever I can, and you should too.Vegetarian options: I bring my vegetarian friend here and he’s pleased with how the menu is clearly labeled, and has multiple options.“
“Pretty good food. We ordered take out - which was a bit more difficult than most. The phone number on their website and google was the same but when calling it, it wasn’t accepting calls and went to an odd message/recording.Perhaps a glitch the night we ordered? The food was good but the ordering process was a little challenging. Couldn’t call the order in, ordered on line but had limitations on how to customize or request things on the side.Upon pickup I asked the hostess if the hibachi comes with miso and salad and she said “yes”. When arriving home we didn’t get the miso soup or salad.Good food though - no rating on atmosphere since I did take out.“
“This place surprised me , the value and cost for the food quality was incredible , very fresh sushi as it has to be , plus my server Gizel was kind and patient everything she recommended was wounderful. I highly recommend this place for sushi “
“We go there frequently. Great lunch and dinner options. Casual and not usually too busy (though Friday and Saturday can be pretty crowded). I've tried lots of their sushi rolls and all of them have been good. Favorite dish however id their Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap. The miso soup is great and the ginger dressing on their salads is as good as any I've had. Also, the fried pork Gyoza are a great appetizer. Some Japanese beers, and a local beer too. Most every beef and chicken dish has a soy option if you eating vegetarian.Vegetarian options: Several vegetable dishes and vegetarian options (soy) in place of chicken/beef/pork.“
“Fantastic place, highly recommend! We had wonderful service and the atmosphere was very quiet and romantic and the restaurant was close to full. We started with the fried bread. I got the japchae and my husband got the cioppino - both were absolutely amazing.“
