“The food was very good! We've been to a number of hibachi and sushi places in the area and this one was my favorite for takeout. The sushi alongside the hibachi was also very delicious and flavorful. Service was possibly understaffed so things took a bit longer than estimated but I did not mind because everything else was perfect and the staff was kind.“

“We went to Dan Sushi & Hibachi for lunch and it was really good. The lunch special was a great deal and the service was super friendly and quick. We got the avocado eel, Boston, and shrimp tempura rolls and they were all excellent -- fresh and well made. We ended up ordering two more rolls because we liked everything so much. “This place is very well decorated. It is bright and looks brand new. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They replace your drink with a fresh one. “I stopped by Mat Jib inside H Mart and tried the half-and-half corn dog. The cheese pull was really good, and the potato coating added a nice crispy texture and made it more filling than a regular corn dog.

The place was quite busy when I visited, with a long queue and plenty of people ordering, which seems to be a good sign of how popular it is. Even with the crowd, it was worth trying, especially if you are already shopping at H Mart and want a quick Korean snack.

Overall, a tasty and fun stop. I would definitely get the potato half-and-half corn dog again.“

“I had not been in years. I went in August 2026 on a Sunday. I was initially reluctant given the variety of reviews and the amount of reviews.

On the one hand the reviews are accurate. However the bad reviews were more harsh than they needed to be.

Have i had worse sushi...yes for sure. Have I had better sushi absolutely.

Given the whole experience I would give it 4 stars of 5. Atmosphere is casual but nice. Service is above average. Food is 4/5. It was a bit bland but I got the 3 roll lunch special. The rice was not flavored very well and the tightness of the rolls was average. However if the rice has had more flavor it would have been better. But in fairness I got shrimp avocado, amd salmon avocado. Which are more bland to begin with.

I also got the vegetable tempura. The sauce was a spicy mayo instead of sweet broth. It was not traditional tempura, more deep fried vegetables....but not horrible.

The price was SUPER affordable.

The service was attentive.

So.....in the end....set expectations.
There are better sushi places However for the price and location, it was above average.“

“I ordered through uber eats. They had a special for buy one get one free on their salmon box. I also got a California roll. I thought the sushi was good. I had no problems with ordering and will likely order again. I have seen a lot of negative reviews from other customers regarding uber orders. While I can't speak to their experience, I had no issue with my meal. The sushi, again, was good. Not perfect, but as good as I could expect from delivered sushi. EDIT: ordered again the same thing. “Professional chef visiting the area and tried this place. I was traveling with my 2 year old and prefer buffets because they normally do not charge for children that age and he’s not going to eat enough food to warrant a charge of a kid price. I gave the food 3 stars because that’s what it is and is on par with buffets that aren’t beating you over the head on pricing. I will say that the they seasoned the crap out of the frog logs so well the 2 year old had some! Everything was pretty straight forward and typical. The vegetables were cook really well too. The service was very good. The ladies took turns helping watch the little one while I attended the buffet and were real attentive. I would go back when I’m in the area again. It was good enough to eat and they had a very good selection.“
