“I love this location so much, everyone’s always working hard and makes sure their guest(s) leave w satisfaction, my only suggestion would be to please keep an eye on the cookie they give out.
3/6 cookies weren’t properly done and were given to me, a cinnamon swirl cookie I ordered did not have any icing, the strawberry shortcake cookie was very poorly made and I ordered the brownie dips but received a chocolate cookie instead. Aside from that keep up the good work! :)”

“We have been wanting to visit The Blind Pelican for a while, and finally took the plunge for my husband’s birthday. This trip will absolutely not be our last. The place was packed on a Tuesday night (it’s not a huge space, especially in the winter when outside seating isn’t available, so plan accordingly). Our wait time was exactly what the hostess promised, and service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. All staff were phenomenal and checked on us while we were waiting as well as once we were seated. The staff aren’t overly attentive, which we love (they checked on us enough to be helpful but otherwise just let us enjoy our meal). We obviously HAD to try the crazy fun bloody mary’s. They were delicious - exceptional bloody mary’s, and all of the food on top was perfectly cooked and a joy to eat. I had the Taco Tuesday special - lobster tacos with a mango salsa that made me do a happy dance, and my husband had the steak and scallops. Everything was so good and worth the price, in my opinion. Quality seafood can be pricey in central NC, but worth it! The bloody mary’s are obviously a novelty item - but the quality was so outstanding that I would actually order one again (which is saying a lot as I figured it would be a one and done). I can’t wait to go back and try all of the other items on their menu - including some fun drinks & apps we didn’t have room to try this time. If you’re on the fence, just go! You will be glad you did!”

“We ordered take out from Cristo’s Bistro and it was fantastic! This place is definitely a neighborhood gem. The staff were so kind and the inside of the restaurant looks so cozy-we will need to “dine-in” next time. We ordered the “Grandma Pie” and the “White Hot” Pizzas. Both were full of flavor and delicious! We ordered the Penne alla Vodka and it was perfectly cooked. A great meal! We will definitely be ordering again very soon. The entire family agreed-BEST pizza we have tried in Holly Springs!”

“I can’t have caffeine and I always start to want iced coffee once fall hits. I can’t ever find decaf cold brew anywhere though. Not only did they make me a half gallon of it but they also delivered it to my door. I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of coffee but also service. I will def be ordering again. “This place must be the most undiscovered treasure in fuquay. My partner is an ice cream connoisseur, yall he's got his own ice cream maker, and he said this is some of the best ice cream he's had in a long time! I agree. He and his daughter got 1 scoop of pot of gold and i got 1scoop of cookies and cream. it's a very creamy ice cream and not too sugary! That's not even why I'm writing this review. We just each had a 1/2 chocolate chip cookie we took home and OMG it's perfect. they also had real maple sugar and coffee which was an added bonus. we will certainly be back!”

“Although I have enjoyed all that I tried at this establishment the scones and tea are what love most. They are often extremely busy on the weekends and evenings so the volume can climb however it a historical landmark so that is understandable. This is a tea room although not a traditional tea room so go try it out and enjoy the experience .”

“We went for dinner and to watch the semi final world cup game. Our server, Paige, was outstanding! She was personable, attentive, intuitive, and maintained great communication throughout our visit. My husband and I worked as servers and bartenders for years and often find ourselves disappointed in the service we receive when dining out. Paige is top notch and will be the reason we return more frequently.”

“Fera'wyns has made cakes for us a few times. They are always delicious and looked beautiful. It's especially great for my celiac daughter but everyone enjoys them. I recommend them to everyone. We also love the chocolates and pastries.”

“The food here is so great, and the service is amazing. I love the granola and you can even get a GF granola with flax seed, blueberries and no honey. I love the fat free yogurt and the reduced calorie, lower sugar açaí base that you can request. Catering is also available, so you’ve got some amazing options for that too. Toasts, quesadillas, salads, bowls and GREAT Lavazza coffee and espresso. They now have a sugar free vanilla syrup too. Highly recommend.”

Great Coffee, always kind service, cozy atmosphere (litteraly is a home), surrounded by words (books). Indoor if you want a quiet space and outdoor seating if you want some fresh air. Everything is so very intentional.
What more can you want from a midday coffee break?
My favorite spot for sure.”

“When I walked into Diced I was greeted in with a big beautiful smile by all the hard working employees so I already knew this place was going to be good! And well I was right. Food is very delicious and so are the ingredients. Everything is fresh which I really love! 10/10 :)”

“I want to give a shout-out to the serving staff at Smashed. Our teen son and some of his high school soccer teammates have been spending a lot of time practicing at a local field and then walking over to Smashed for lunch. As previous hospitality workers ourselves, we've taught our son to tip well, but I can imagine servers are hesitant when they see a group of teens sit in their section. Our son has said that every time they've gone (3x in one week, lol) the staff has been welcoming, attentive, and fun. Thank you for providing everyone with a pleasant dining experience!”

“My favorites here are the Mediterranean pizza (it has eggplant, which is wonderful when prepared properly), the garden salad with Greek dressing, and the stuffed grape leaves. In fact, everything I’ve gotten here has been excellent! If possible, order on Slice, DoorDash doesn’t have everything on their menu. This is my go-to restaurant in Holly Springs!”

“Beth does catering out of a truck and recently made an appearance at my HOA summer party. In a nutshell, just book her! She is amazing to work with and the quality of the ice shavings in their sno cones is second to none. It is so smooth compared to other, chunky competitors. And of course they have about 20 different flavors and every single one of them tastes amazing.”

“I'm originally from the Chicagoland area and love Chicago Deep Dish. No one does it right. The crust is usually super think and the toppings, especially the cheese, is far too sparse. ACME Pizza... you guys literally made me get all teary eyed with the first bite! I was back home again after 20+ years of missing my hometown pizza, I was home. I had to drive over an hour to get to you, but I would do it again! For those of us who miss home, this is definitely a warm tasty slice of home comfort food. Now if you guys ever create a parbaked pie that my hubs could pick up on the few occasions he has to travel to Raleigh for his job so we can have the fresh out of the oven taste when he gets home. . . You would make this former Chicagoan very happy.”

“🤩 This is now my top 3 favorites around here! Ordered for the first time tonight, but was skeptical due to having it delivered (UberEats). Let me just say, those were the best tasting burgers we've ever had! I ordered a Perfect Burger (m,k,mu,chs), hubs ordered the Cowboy burger (jalapeños added a nice little 'nip' he said), our 10yr old got the Carolina Burger (added fried egg and no slaw) that was impressive! The chili seemed to have a dash of relish in it- amazing! And our 2yr old had the kid's cheese quesadilla. ZERO complaints. My son says he wants this everyday forever. Loaded fries were really crisp & flavorful. I had the onion rings and DAAAAAAAANG they were possibly the best batch of onion rings l've ever had. The pretzel bites were good/average. Nothing very overwhelming compared to the flavors of everything else we had. I loved that they avoid adding the cheese to the fries for delivery orders. Received a considerate amount of Queso and was flavorful & not bland at all. Our to-go delivery was extremely well wrapped & packaged. We will 100% be return customers. “Homegrown has been a go to in Holly Springs for a long time. Great pizza and the best wings around. Add in a full bar, TVs for sports , and live music on weekends and you have a great neighborhood restaurant you will make a regular spot!”

“I come by for lunch probably 3/4 times a month. It is our go-to spot in the area. As hibachi goes it is fantastic, I have never had a bad batch. 12$ for a plate of rice, chicken and veggies is such a steal. If you’re looking for a quick and easy lunch in the area can’t recommend it enough.”

“I have been so pleased with my recent visits to Tropical Smoothie at Village Walk Drive. I am always greeted when I enter, usually by more than one person. It is lovely to see how the staff gets along and shows that it helps them work more effectively. The politeness is outstanding and the smoothie are a great go to after a workout or even just on a nice sunny day. So happy with this establishment.”

“Tijuana Flats is a very giving franchise. They donated taco bar for 30 teachers at the school I work at, and everyone was so appreciative. Any business that’s willing to give, I’m willing to support. The tacos were also phenomenal!!!”

“Had one slice and let me tell you, anyone from up north looking for pizza in the south this is the place to go to. PA(Philadelphia) former resident moved to NC and it tastes like home. Going to try the cheesesteak next time but as far as pizza goes this is the place. Friendly staff good food and decent price you can’t beat. 5 stars.”
