“I love this location so much, everyone’s always working hard and makes sure their guest(s) leave w satisfaction, my only suggestion would be to please keep an eye on the cookie they give out.
3/6 cookies weren’t properly done and were given to me, a cinnamon swirl cookie I ordered did not have any icing, the strawberry shortcake cookie was very poorly made and I ordered the brownie dips but received a chocolate cookie instead. Aside from that keep up the good work! :)”

Fresher and lighter than NY style pizza (although we still love NY style), very satisfying because of the taste and quality of the ingredients in the Parma and Burrata pizzas that we ordered! Claudio who is from Rome made the experience even better as he prepared our order and explained about the special dough which is the perfect base for the gourmet toppings! “We have been wanting to visit The Blind Pelican for a while, and finally took the plunge for my husband’s birthday. This trip will absolutely not be our last. The place was packed on a Tuesday night (it’s not a huge space, especially in the winter when outside seating isn’t available, so plan accordingly). Our wait time was exactly what the hostess promised, and service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. All staff were phenomenal and checked on us while we were waiting as well as once we were seated. The staff aren’t overly attentive, which we love (they checked on us enough to be helpful but otherwise just let us enjoy our meal). We obviously HAD to try the crazy fun bloody mary’s. They were delicious - exceptional bloody mary’s, and all of the food on top was perfectly cooked and a joy to eat. I had the Taco Tuesday special - lobster tacos with a mango salsa that made me do a happy dance, and my husband had the steak and scallops. Everything was so good and worth the price, in my opinion. Quality seafood can be pricey in central NC, but worth it! The bloody mary’s are obviously a novelty item - but the quality was so outstanding that I would actually order one again (which is saying a lot as I figured it would be a one and done). I can’t wait to go back and try all of the other items on their menu - including some fun drinks & apps we didn’t have room to try this time. If you’re on the fence, just go! You will be glad you did!”
