Light, fluffy, perfectly fried, and drowning in powdered sugar—just like the ones in New Orleans… but honestly? Better. Yeah, I said it. One bite and I was spiritually transported to the French Quarter—minus the street smells and saxophones. These beignets are dangerously good. Like, “accidentally eat the whole box before pulling out of the parking lot” good. They’re golden perfection with a powdered sugar blizzard on top. Soft in the middle, crisp on the edges, and clearly made with love (and possibly sorcery). Highly recommend. Bring napkins. And self-control.“

I felt it was a bit pricey, but some of the combinations were interesting, like the key lime pie cookie. Overall, I could crunch sugar in the butterscotch cookie we tried. It was pretty good. However, as an adult, I'm beyond filling in flavor with pure sugar. Though one look at Sweet Fare, and I know I'm not the target audience. It was a cute little stop. It's too pricey for me to bring all four children to at one time. But it was a nice stop on our date. Overall 3 stars for food, 4 for interior and decor. So the kids will be all about it. As an adult, it was ok.“

“This place must be the most undiscovered treasure in fuquay. My partner is an ice cream connoisseur, yall he's got his own ice cream maker, and he said this is some of the best ice cream he's had in a long time! I agree. He and his daughter got 1 scoop of pot of gold and i got 1scoop of cookies and cream. it's a very creamy ice cream and not too sugary! That's not even why I'm writing this review. We just each had a 1/2 chocolate chip cookie we took home and OMG it's perfect. they also had real maple sugar and coffee which was an added bonus. we will certainly be back!“

If you drive by it is not very obvious there is a shop in there. But once is enough for you to come back for more! The food is SO GOOD. A super crispy warm baguette, delicious meat (grilled pork is my go to) with fresh cucumber, jalapeño, cilantro, and pickled radish. Pair it with lychee tea with popping pearls and its the best meal ever!“

You’re not bopping in to a grocery store bakery for a cellophane wrapped loaf of bread, you’re shopping at an artisan bakery - so set that expectation for yourself - but I thought prices were entirely reasonable.
