“Overall this is a great spot for lunch and baked goods. There are serval sandwiches to choose from and every lunch comes with pasta salad or bagel chips and a treat!Service can be very slow at times. It’d helpful to set a place for “online orders”. The quiches are great but this is not a spot for a quick breakfast.“
“My daughter and I started having weekly visits to Nancy Jo's after our library time. Absolutely one of the best, friendliest, establishments in DT Clayton. My daughter loves their grilled cheese and their cakes!! I love having a place where we can go enjoy lunch for an amazing cost and have a beautiful welcome when we come in.“
“Amazing sandwiches and ice cream is awesome. The staff is top notch and we love this place. We were expecting just a little place and had lower expectations but this places rocked. Trust me if you like bagels, sandwiches, ice cream, and breakfast, and oh yea iced and hot coffee drinks. then this is your all in one stop.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for kids enjoying the ice cream and staff is patient even while kids were ordering the day I was at the shop.“
“Seems like a very nice lady I got some strawberry cheesecake and a couple of other things that I will be trying over the next day or so My only disappointment was she serving ice cream but did not have whipped cream for a Sunday if that's what you order???“
“Large slices with thin NY style crust. Was able to fold up the slice loke you'd expect from NY slices. Nice and crispy with a good amount of toppings. I had pepperoni and sausage slice and a cannoli.Service was great. Very friendly staff who recommended multiple items. Food came out fast and hot.Would recommend for a good slice of ?!“
“I ordered my husband's birthday cake from here 'Death by Chocolate' and it was wonderful! It was very moist and not too sweet. Cake and icing complimented each other very well. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I will definitely return. Thank you!“
“La Mexicanita is located in the heart of downtown Knightdale stood a little bakery with a big heart. For years, its aroma of freshly baked conchas and sweet pastries wafted through the streets, drawing locals and visitors alike to its quaint storefront. Owned and operated by a resilient soul determined to share the flavors of Mexico with the world, La Mexicanita was more than just a bakery; it was a beacon of hope and unity in the community.I still remember the first time I stumbled upon La Mexicanita. Intrigued by the bustling crowd gathered outside, I decided to join the queue, unsure of what to expect. As I took my first bite of a freshly baked concha, my taste buds were transported to a world of sweetness and warmth unlike anything I had ever experienced before. From that moment on, I was hooked. But it wasn't just the irresistible pastries that kept me coming back to La Mexicanita; it was the sense of belonging and connection that permeated its walls. In a world plagued by division and discord, La Mexicanita served as a reminder that we are stronger together than we are apart.Parking: The parking spaces located on both sides of the streets“
“Someone told me about this place and since I was in the area decided to stop by! So glad I did! The two that took care of me were super nice and explained what they had, pricing etc! I had to wait for the cookies, which made for cranky kids but it was so worth the wait! We all enjoyed them! If you go try their red velvet whoopie cake! So good!!!!“
“I went in and asked for tres leches cake. The man who served me was very formal. One slice was $3.50 excellent price. The cake was delicious, moist but not soggy, the cream was not over sweet. With a lot of flavor!!!! Very very rich. I'll be back ??✨❤️“
